Friends took us here for dinner and it was fabulous. Look pass the decor and the food will knock your socks off. The dishes are hearty, delicious and great portions. The meat dishes were melt in your mouth, salmon was cooked to perfection and the pizza was actually cooked in a dedicated pizza oven and it came out perfect. Their flat bread is made in house and so moorish! I can't wait to go again. I recommend a visit.

Astonished to find such a brilliant cafe here. Imaginative gourmet Mediterranean food at cafe prices. The cafe is airy and uncluttered. The chairs are comfortable. The music is not too loud. The staff - and there are plenty - are completely lovely. Even for breakfast (served 7:00 till 12:00) there is a fantastic choice of breakfasts, from full English - with top quality bacon and sausages and homemade rosti - to omelettes, to tortillas, to pancakes, to homemade flatbreads with various toppings or fillings, to breakfast pizza made in their woodfired pizza oven. Your coffee comes with a nice homemade shortbread. The lunch and dinner menu looks brilliant too. Imaginative without being pretentious or fiddly or over-priced. A place to feel at home. When you come in you walk past a bank of fresh green growing herbs; it feels clean and welcoming. The manager had teddy bears pinned to her colourful outfit, which I thought was pleasingly - if courageously - zany, but was explained by the fact that there was a children's party in another room they have there. Worth travelling some distance for, I would say. There is a tiny car park at the back, but a big free public car park just round the corner (next little side-street along). Or you can come on the little train from Bedford, or Woburn Sands, or Bletchley!

My wife and I had a day work, off so thought that a naughty breakfast would be a nice way to start the day (it beats a homemade smoothie, that's for sure!). Having tried many different places in the area, we thought that The Fenny Kitchen looked as though it was worth trying. We were right! Being a Friday morning, it was very quiet when we arrived, but we were immediately greeted with a smile by both the waitress and chef. The interior of the restaurant was modern but comfortable, immaculately clean and bright. We were seated next to the window (our choice) and quickly given the breakfast menu. Being a Mediterranean restaurant, the choices were appropriate with Anglo, French, Spanish and Gibraltarian options, as well as other specialities, some of which we've never actually seen before. All looked really appetising but we went for the full English version (the Anglo) which is described on the menu as "Fuel up for the day with our full cooked breakfast, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, potato rosti, half tomato, mushrooms, beans and your choice of egg, scrambled or fried, served with our house speciality flat bread". Everything is cooked to order, so came to the table piping hot and fresh - perfect! We just about managed to work our way through it all. It's worthwhile mentioning that the coffee is really nice too, and included in the price. As we were leaving, both the waitress and chef asked us how our meal was, and were genuinely friendly and interested in our experience. All in all, great quality, well cooked and combined with the friendly service, we're definitely going to return, possibly for dinner (although I do fancy trying some of the other breakfast options too). Highly recommended!

Really delicious food, the home cooked kind that you feel someone has taken care in making. Also very clean, these are the two main things I judge a restaurant on! We were a large group and they handled it well, though did not otherwise seem that busy. The decor I was not so keen on, it is a little dated (it is also kind of quirky)and the table setting with paper napkins did not match up to the quality of the food. If I was that side of MK again would definitely revisit though.

A very tasty meal everything cooked from scratch. The service was extremely friendly, a lovely waitress who you felt really cared. We had a window table, which was good. Lovely atmosphere made to feel very welcome.

Delicious food and friendly service, lovely atmosphere, what else do you need? Their pasta is amazing, clearly freshly made, best I had so far in MK. Definitely competes with what I had when visiting Italy. I had 2 of the 4 pasta dishes so far and will be coming back to try the rest. If you're visiting make sure to leave space for desert as their cheesecake is heavenly creamy and rich. They definitely have a good chef here, who is consistently good as I've been 3 times so far on different days and the food was perfect each time.

The food was delicious and the service prompt. I ordered the Chicken wings for starter, the burger for main and the cheesecake for dessert.

We had pizza. The food is a bit defferent and fresh. Not part of a chain. Great friendly staff.

Brought the family to the restaurant for the sumptuous weekend breakfast. Ordered two pancake stacks for the kids, Full Anglo & Puccia... boy what a feast for breakfast. Shortly after arriving my daughter looked around and made a compliment to me in conversation about the morning ambience and general feel of The Fenny, pleasantly impressed and relaxed atmosphere. Heard thought the grapevine that the coffee was good, not disappointed there either, yet started with a lovely strong cup of tea. The pancake stacks far far superior here than to that fast food place will all know of. My Full Anglo was definitely full on and not for the feint hearted, will set you up for the day nicely. A great sense of local community and conversation this morning, easily pass time away finished off with final coffees, before grabbing the bill. Based on the style of the menu and the quality of food that arrives at your table, this is great value for superb quality. The menu is not over bearing, a fantastic mix of food that everyone will enjoy and no doubt you'll come back for more. We most certainly will.

Went in for a light lunch this week with my wife, and we had the pizza and a couple of salads. everything was very tasty and well presented. The service was very friendly and efficient. The setting is in a historic building, which is very cosy, and all the historic wooden beams and brickwork have been well preserved and add a great touch. Will definitely return to try out other items on the menu.

Very nice, relaxing restaurant with great customer service. Our waiter Casey was great, very friendly and attentive. The food was good, however I think the portion sizes could be a little bigger. I probably wouldn’t go for the sea bass fish again as I am not a big fan of mustard and found it a little overbearing in this dish. But my overall experience at this restaurant was great.

Had a wonderful meal with my friends here last weekend. The service was great, the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. And the food was just delicious and we'll thought out. I'll definitely be taking my husband here for another dinner.
