Lovely pub with an old school feeling inside. Went for evening meal and a pint. Landlord and servers were really nice and try their best to look after you. Food was on point and tasty. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the meal. Many thanks.

Great place, I hope it will stay so good for years to come as we would love to come back again. We have visited twice so far, both times the staff was very nice and polite and the atmosphere very cosy. But the food is the best bit. Everything we had tasted like the best, most genuine home cooked food. Prices very reasonable for this quality of cooking and ingredients.
What a beautiful, comfortable place. I was knocked out by how cosy this place was.
Cannot take your dog- to be honest I wouldn't want to spoil the place with dirty doggy paws.
Comfortable log burner supplying the winter warmth externally and a good bar supplying the warmth internally.

Brilliant, traditional old English pub. Menu choices were well varied, including vegan options and what we had was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced.
My OH tells me both ales were extremely well kept.
You don't find many pubs like this these days.
I definitely recommend you try it if in the area.

A excellent menu to choose from, after much deliberation choose the sea bass certainly didn't disappoint, Bread and butter pudding excellent. All other choices on our table looked so good. We'll done to all.
