My favourite place every summer through out my childhood and now my children's favourite too
The Boathouse is a very friendly cafe on the seafront I n Felpham. Food, drinks and service are great!
Best breakfast around ! friendly staff, clean premises will deff be back !
If you love cakes, and nicely made food, pay a visit. Nice to watch the cakes being decorated.
Been a customer over 50yrs! Thank you for serving us well for all those years..
Reasonably priced, great view of the seafront.
Very nice panini bacon, Brie and cranberry sauce. The chips are so tasty and crispy outside and soft inside. Staff very friendly. Very quick to clean the tables.
My favourite seaside cafe! My family have been coming here for generations while on our holidays to nearby Pagham. The food is really good and value for money. The atmosphere is friendly in this family run restaurant. Love coming here.
Stopped here whilst working nearby for lunch, got the chicken and bacon panini and my pal had a tuna jacket potato. The food was of average quality considering the price, you’re definitely paying for the location. Great sea views all round with lovely staff. :)
I would recommend this as a quick bite to eat place.

Lovely cafe at Felpham beach. Good for families, sells ice creams, coffee , cake and lunches. It was particularly sunny on this day we visited and the nice young man in black who works there brought out an ice cream tub with fresh water in for the dogs.
Great seaside eatery. Friendly staff and great food.
Friendly girls took our order. My daughter and I had soya lattes. Perfectly made. Very small cups for the price. Beautiful views, good place to catch up with friends.
Met with family members on this occasion. Five adults, a baby and our small dog. Everybody welcomed. Polite friendly staff. Good clean wheelchair friendly Cafe with indoor and outdoor seating with excellent sea views. Clean well maintained male and female toilets. Decent portion size good value variety of cafeteria fayre. Local authority pay and display parking available within 100yds.
We was caravanning in the area, fancied breakfast and stumbled across this cafe. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and hot! Just was you want. We also didn’t wait more then 10 minutes for our food. We loved it so much that we returned again the following day. And the staff were very welcoming and friendly. See you again soon.
Lovely coffee and cake which was a gluten free chocolate muffin. Views to sea. Plenty of tables and chairs even if a little dated. £5 spend to use a card. Staff very friendly. Will return to try the meals as good selection on the menu. Coffee was of a good quality and made well.
Lovely place for a sit down with pup's, prawn sandwiches and latte coffee, then a stroll along the prom.
Nice friendly staff, plenty of tables to sit down. Great selection of Ice cream flavours and delicious taste.
Great location for a snack or lunch right on the beach. Menu is simple but caters to most tastes and there is a nice ice cream bar too. Ta les look onto the beach and provenance reasonable for the location.
Friendly staff, nice food and good price for cafe on sea front.
Nice seaside cafe, traditional food reasonable prices. Nice ice cream next door
We had a wonderful couple of hours at The Boat House cafe. Lovely staff, tasty coffee and the perfect location.
Family day trips to Felpham beach (with refreshments at the Boat House Cafe) were a regular part of my teenage years back in the late 1980s. Having not visited for approximately 30 years, yesterday I took a nostalgic trip back.
I was pleased to find that The Boat House Cafe remained exactly as I remembered. Behind the counter however, I now noticed a framed photograph of a man who I possibly recognised from 30+ years ago. I commented as such to the assistant, who explained that whilst sadly this gentleman passed away several years ago - his wife - gesturing to the table behind me - is still in the business today! Wow! So my impression is that this is a family business still in the same hands. Great to find such long-term stability in these modern times. Really made my day.
Putting aside any nostalgic bias and turning to the current, our teas & coffees were perfect. I chose to accompany the coffee with a delicious apple & cinnamon flapjack. Highly recommended!
The cafe offers both outdoor tables and (if you prefer some shade and/ or a more comfortable seat) indoor. A sea view is available from both options.
Cleanliness was excellent throughout, with good ventilation. Toilets were spotless.
Loved the branding.
Only came for ice cream, they had plenty. They served it quickly. The kids loved theirs (bubblegum - don’t judge me - and a magnum), I had coffee ice cream, it was delicious.
Lady in front of me paid with her phone, so they take that sort of payment. Minimum card payment is £5 - which is *obviously* the only reason I got an ice cream for myself... *ahem*
Paid £7.30 for 3 ice creams, which seems reasonable.
