Lunch. What a find this restaurant is. We were staying at a hotel practically next door and came across it as we were walking our dogs. It's located right on the seafront promenade Felpham. One look at the specials board, we could tell this was going to be good. As we'd had eaten earlier, we tried a couple of their sandwiches. Prawn & Crayfish cocktail. Gourmet fish finger. Both were packed with filling and absolutely delicious. It was so good we had to return the next day to try something else. This time we chose one of the specials. Which was the local lobster brioche roll. With lemon & pepper mayo, tomato + watercress. Served with seasoned fries and slaw. At £18.95 it's not cheap, but it's so worth it. Everything is cooked fresh to order, and looking at other dishes coming out of the kitchen, we had serious food envy. Staff are very cheerful and a bonus for us, it's very dog friendly. We shall have to return to try some of the delicious looking food from the Specials board.

This was a great find to walk in for an early dinner (service runs from 5 til 7) and we were glad that we waited until they finished writing up the specials before ordering. The hake was great tho the Torbay sole needed a little bit more finesse in the cooking to reach 5 stars. Save room for dessert too! Much more than a beach cafe, will definitely go back

We came here on our last night at butlins and absolutely LOVED it! Cheesy chips for the fussy one... kids fish n chips was DELICIOUS! Best goats cheese salad ever and an absolutely beautiful half lobster! Beautiful setting and lovely service. Couldn't recommend it more!

The Lobster Pot is in the perfect location for a promenade stop off. They are one of the first open for breakfast and an excellent breakfast it is. Service is swift, happy and professional, you could not wish for more. I couldn't recommend a better place for an early morning stop.

We missed the daily lobster special but the fish fingers were amazing. Also the ice-cream is super tasty.

Great place for a beach front restaurant, stopped by for a Selsey Crab sandwich at 13:30 all sold out 🥲 had a prawn and crayfish instead great substitute. It’s very busy but the service is with a smile and helpful. A great spot will try and be earlier next time for the crab.

Bloody lovely! A visit whilst collecting my oldest from uni. They had discovered The Lobster Pot on an exploratory stroll along the beach. The food was fabulous and generous. The service quick and efficient. The atmosphere congenital and welcoming. I will try the liver and bacon next time....was recommended by the gentleman on the next table, who was enjoying it immensely. Thank you.

Great location! Amazing View! Cracking Bacon, Egg, Sausage & Hash brown buttie! Highly recommend you pop in for a brew! Awesome place if your out with your fur baby! Price, it's average for the area so quite high. But not unreasonable and expected given today's operating costs. Thank you Lobster Pot!

We stopped here for early lunch, busy but staff were so efficient. Clean and hot fresh food. We had Mediterranean fish stew and the seafood box. Delicious. All the food brought out looked lovely and if we are in the area again we will definitely be back👌.

Oh my goodness... we weren't expecting to find such a gem literally right on the beach front.. the food was phenomenal. I had the seafood box and hubby had the seafood with saffron rice. They were both made with care and such amazing detail from how it looked on the plate to the balance in flavours. Every single ingredient was fresh and distinctive in flavour. We will definitely be back. I have to give it 5*😁

Only stopped today for a coffee and ice cream. Great selection of sorbets and plant based ice creams (ideal with dairy and gluten allergy) Good looking menu with options if you have dietary requirements. (Gluten free / Vegan) Lovely coffee options of oat or soya for plant based. Beautiful sun trap spot with a perfect view of the sea. Dog friendly Family friendly Lots of space outside (indoor and undercover too incase the weather turns)

Exceptional food & menu. I enjoyed a fish stew with lots of different fish & seafood it was very tasty & so much flavour. Excellent stew I also had the seafood box. Lots of different seafood ls in a tempura batter lovely mixed salad & fries. It was hot & bursting with flavour. I couldn't eat it all. Left the fries & some salad just munched on all the lovely seafood. Well done to all who work @ the fox. Excellent customer service.

Lovely pit stop on a walk along the promenade. We had a coffee going one way and stopped for lunch coming back. Great outdoor seating, as well as under cover. We had a box of mixed fried seafood with fries and salad between two of us. It was really tasty. Worth a stop.

Excellent, straightforward food. I had the "Brunch Grill" with eggs, bacon and sausage all x 2 plus black pudding tomatoes, mushrooms and chips. Cooked to perfection and served in a timely and pleasant fashion. Lovely views out to sea, with a variety of tables locations from al fresco to indoor. This was my first visit - I look forward to returning.

The Lobster Pot Cafe offers a dining experience like no other. The on-beach seating provides a picturesque backdrop for a memorable meal. The food is nothing short of exceptional; every dish is prepared with care and bursting with flavor. But what truly sets this place apart is their ice cream selection. From classic flavors to inventive creations, the variety is impressive and each scoop is a taste of perfection.

Great spot for lunch. Mostly enjoyed. The woman behind the till wasn't that friendly but otherwise had a good experience, and the ice cream was delicious!

A very smart, newly revamped, cafe which is just a few feet from the beach. Most people walk to it along the Promenade. Parking is not easy . Lucky to find a gap in narrow access roads. I took a picture of the main Menu below but there is also a daily Specials Board. We stopped just for coffee and cake but the food being eaten all around us looked very good. Definitely not the cheapest though! This was our third attempt to visit here. The other times it was just too crowded with people queuing. They do not take reservations. Incidentally, the place is spotlessly clean - including the loos.
