What an incredible ambiance, a beautiful little chic charming 50’s 60’s cafe. The food was fantastic and the staff were lovely. The music was delightful. Can’t wait to return with my friends.

After a rather bracing walk along the sea front we were welcomed in with smiles. Very cosy, food and drink so so tasty. Loved the ambience of the 50s style diner. Will definitely be returning!

Very busy , but service is quick, food excellent, easy parking, but you have to pay now. Inside and outside seating. Very much the fishermans environment, foot and cycle ferry to Bawdsey, home of WW2 radar station. Beautiful walks or cycling along sea and river walls An ideal place to go to chill and unwind, Holiday accomodations available overlooking the river , and wet fresh fish for sale, not forgetting the sailing club. Lovely place to visit and stay , what ever the weather.

Nicely presented American diner with themed background music that was a tad too loud for us. We only had coffees, which were nice, but the menu is fairly limited for customers with dietary requirements.

Excellent fish and chips, good selection of beers and very friendly service. Interesting decor with lots of old vinyl records on the walls and 1940s / 1950s musical and theatrical posters and flyers on the tables. To complete the atmosphere, old favourites from the 50s and 60s are played in the background. Very popular, the cafe was full at lunchtime in midweek in February.

Although the queue to be served was dealt with incredibly slowly, the fish and chips were the best tasted anywhere.

An unexpected treat at the end of a long walk, before you remember you need to walk back to the car again. Not the worst coffee or sausage roll, inside is good and themed a little to the 1950s without being too much. Children friendly, outside tables, good menu choice.

Decorated like an American diner, this place is cute. I was ignored for about 5 minutes while the server completed an order, she was the only person serving and it looked like just one person cooking, but it wasn't busy, only 2 tables taken. The server was friendly once she did acknowledge and serve me. Took a while to get our drinks which weren't that hot and cakes- red velvet was a bit dry but can recommend the carrot cake. Would go back if walking here again as the only other option is the horrible little cafe next to the ferry Dock.
