A lovely, surprising find at the heart of this Suffolk honeypot. A traditional an English tavern as you could possibly find. Low ceilings, original beams, original feel, and utterly distinctive. Food served (didn't eat) from 12-2 & evenings. The menu looked appetising and full of local fayre. Bee
Had a cracking lunch here, great pub with loads of seating options and space, dog and people friendly. Had the catch of the day fish and chips which was Coley; beautifully battered, crisp outside and moist inside, perfect! My wife had mussels which were cooked to perfection! Highly recommend a walk
Appreciated being told about accessible entrance and our group with both older less mobile adults and small children felt very welcome. Dogs too! Gorgeous food beautifully presented. Really enjoyable .
What a fantastic Inn. Excellent food. We had the Fish pie which was packed full of lovely fresh fish, followed by Apple Flan, again full of lovely sweet apples. The service was excellent. The staff were on the ball and very efficient nothing too much trouble. Kitchen turning out food very quickly an

I love everything about this pub from the food (the batter for the fried fish is consistently perfect: light and crispy) to the setting (there are plenty of seating options: indoor / outdoor) and the amazingly friendly service. I make sure to have at least one lunch here whenever I am back in Suffol

Only sat outside for a drink. Lunchtime menu had ended. Really lovely old pub.
What a lovely old pub. Mind the beams they're very low! I'm 5'8" and just about got under with 2" heels on! The pub had a very welcoming and roaring wood fire in the middle of the room and the atmosphere was very warm and cozy. The menu looked great with lots of lovely things to tempt. The roa

Visited on a Saturday at about 6pm and the place was already really busy but they managed to find us a table. The staff were all really friendly & the service was good. Delicious food and served quickly. Not cheap but worth a visit.
Had a great meal here tonight; nice olde Worlde atmosphere. Nice evening so enjoyed good outdoor views from our seats. Had the line caught haddock, husband had the fish pie. Both excellent. Would definitely recommend
