Had lunch there yesterday, jacket potato with a lovely salad, friendly staff, good menu to choose from, I would recommend Brogdale farm and I will visit again
We arrived just before they were closing and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Had a fantastically large cup of coffee along with the most gorgeous coffee and walnut cake (again a large portion). My husband had a milkshake and a gorgeous chocolate cake. Somewhere I would definitely go again and the small shops around were good as well. Especially the butchers - wow.
Absolutely amazing cafe ❤️ very welcoming and polite staff members who are managed by lovely owners. They always have the time to speak and answer questions, getting to know their regulars. Food is freshly made by a very talented cook. Can get busy but always accommodate and aim to please all their customers, defo worth booking ahead if you are coming with a big group to avoid disappointment. Very highly recommended we visit every half-term/summer holidays as a treat for the kids, breakfast with great grandad who is a regular we absolutely love it here.

Went to a wonderful restaurant today for coffee, the place was extremely busy.
The staff were coping well and everything was going smoothly.
The customers appeared happy and content.
A very rude and immature person (female) walked in and demanded a table for 12 which was obviously not possible at that precise time because the tables were all full.
The woman was very rude and aggressive towards the manager who very politely tried to explain that at short notice this was not possible..
The woman became increasingly aggressive towards the management lady .
When going in larger parties to anywhere such as restaurants it’s always advisable to book to avoid disappointment.
This woman was obviously upset but it’s not fair to act like a rude and spoiled child just because of this.
If requested I’m very sure that the party would have been accommodated a little later in the afternoon.
.This is just an observation from myself because it seems unfair to write bad reviews about things which cannot be helped.
We’ve always been treated very well there and would happily go again.
Visited today with Family, booking is advisable. Very popular!!!!
We had amazing food, sausages mash, stacked burger , homemade pie with fresh veg and mash lots on the menu. All staff pleasant, friendly and welcoming ! Will definitely be returning!
A very nice friendly atmosphere, fresh food delivered with a smile and a particularly pleasing place to settle down and chat with friends after a walk. We both had baguettes followed by cake and tea. Perfect!
Went into today for afternoon tea for me and my friend and it was lovely fresh scone cake was amazing! And the sandwiches lovely, staff was excellent!
Lovely little place
I absolutely love this little gem of a restaurant. The food is excellent, and great value for money, with good sized portions, beautifully presented. I love the pretty vibe, with great care and attention paid to the decor, and nice details with the afternoon tea, milkshakes etc.
The staff are super friendly, there’s a real family atmosphere, and they definitely go above and beyond to accommodate any extras without being intrusive, pestering or rushing you.
It’s great for either a proper meal, stopping by for sandwiches or cakes, or just popping in for a coffee.

Food is great for the price. There is indoor and outdoor seating's. On weekend it better to book in.
Very friendly family run restaurant. On our visit for lunch we found the choice of food and drinks to be good. The food was flavoursome well presented and a reasonable price. Our granddaughter really enjoyed her milkshake. It was nice to have good service as well as being clean and tidy.

Honestly one of the friendliest, kindest restaurant I have visited. Have been frequently visiting for two years and have always experienced the best service. I visited for lunch with my wife while stuck in traffic, wanted to get some quick lovely food. The food was freshly cooked, my wife has a ploughmans and it looked amazing all lovely and fresh, the staff was very welcoming and respectful towards me and my wife. The chef came out and asked how our food was and the young lady was very polite and respectful.
We only popped in for a pot of tea on a cold Saturday afternoon. The staff were lovely and attentive. It had a nice feel about the place. I can imagine it gets busy in the summer months. Nice place to sit and chat. We didn't eat but the food we saw looked good. The milkshake with a doughnut looks particularly appealing! Prices were reasonable.
