What an incredible find! Oozing with 300+ years of history and character, every little corner has ambiance and amazing vibes bestowed by the excellent furnishings and low ceilings. It's a long walk from anywhere, so get wheels, and keep going past the point where it looks like you're driving into th
Great 300 year old pub at the end of a lengthy unmade pot-holed lane serving great local beers straight from the cask, decent home prepared food and friendly staff. Well worth the drive out to the pub for the unique experience.
Great pub well worth the trip out for the experience. Staff are friendly and helpful and ales are perfect. Easy walk from Faversham Town centre.
I am so glad to see this pub is still here almost untouched since I was about 18 I am 63 now. What a blessing. I intend to visit next time I am in Kent. Thrilled. It was an exciting place to find don';t go too fast... a hideaway and here it is just as was!
Loved everything about this pub, a classic place that is rare to find these days. The choice and quality of the ales served straight from the cask was first class. The service was friendly and the food delicious. Glad we chose this one over the other local ones recommended to us.
Really nice hidden pub what seems in the middle of no-where :D but full of character! Amazing find! We were on a little roadtrip when decided to have lunch there and were really pleasantly surprised. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside in a cosy garden. Food was delicious! It's also dog and kid
Proper pub with well kept cellar and great selection of Ale. Cosy and comfortable, with well behaved dogs allowed inside, and an appreciated no tolerance policy on misbehaved ones. No nonsense service and basic pub grub. Ticks all the boxes for a great local pub.
A delightful, friendly pub .An oasis on a hot day. The menu had limited options for Vegans so plumped for the homemade vegetable curry,it was very tasty and a generous size. A pretty walk along the creek helped make room for another pint on our return. Hidden gem.
Nothing has changed in the 5 years since my last visit, I'm glad to say. On a nice day, a wonderful place to relax with a pint. Poor weather? A cosy place to relax with a pint. Well worth finding (not easy). When you have the "this can't be right" moment as you bounce down the track and buildings di
What can I say.... Was really surprised by this really beautiful surroundings, friendly staff and such a great homemade food! Must be the best pub we have ever been! As there was 10 of us visiting Faversham, we have not booked and have no table to sit at... But we really enjoyed the cosy corner on
