Amazing restaurant. The quality of the food was great, everything was cooked to perfection and portion sizes were good too. If you go then the lamb chops on the grill are an absolute must.
Food delivery was very quick and hot on arrival. The staff were friendly & helpful.

Nice place, me and my son were the only ones in restaurant , shortly after we arrived the waiter (who was very friendly and professional) put on the heater and music which made the atmosphere much better, the food was very nice especially the chicken and chickpea curry, nann bread fresh and delicious, the downside was the drinks,, not nice flavoured juice/soda and warm flat coke, we asked for some ice, unfortunately they didn't have any ( he gave my son an ice cream on the house after) the drinks was a let down for me,however the food was delicious, 5 star and we will return :)

Lime Tree was closed for refurbishment and I am so happy it has reopened.
Lime Tree is one of those rare curry restaurants that takes real pride in making authentic and high quality dishes.
The spices, herbs and techniques they use make their food truly excellent. I have not tried the seafood but I can say that the specials, the lentil soup and the breads are delicious and Iโll be going back again and again!
Staff are friendly, courteous and highly knowledgeable about the menu.
Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service,so glad itโs open again after the refurbishment, if you like fish, itโs to die for just melts in the mouth.
Javid the owner is excellent making sure youโre happy with everything, and if you need anything extra or special.

Visited the Lime Tree for the first time today.....sadly only us in the restaurant but not sure why as everything was really good...
Ambience/Atmosphere
No-one else in but we were made to feel at home straight away by Nasser who was friendly, informative and a great host. He told us about the problems they had (floodings etc) and that they are looking to build their customer base again. Thanks Nasser for great hosting.
Food & Drinks
The food was delicious and plentiful and we were really impressed. Mixed starter for 2 was really tasty and nicely presented......poppadoms were fresh with great accompaniments. The mains were superb Laal Mesh and Chilli Garlic Masala were both spectacular but were too big for us to finish. (tomorrow's lunch sorted). The lamb was tender flavoursome. Great stuff

Nasser made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us pots to take our leftovers home. Great work

Food was okay, quite big portions which was quite nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The place is a little run down, perhaps due a good polish up.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a date night. My favourite part about this is the waiter, Naz. He makes sure you are satisfied with the meal.
Our first time at the lime tree and we had such a delicious meal. Plenty of choice for both vegetarian and vegans as well as meat and even gluten free options.
I had the lentil pakoras followed by the pumpkin hodgepodge. Not the usual meal you would see at most Indian restaurants but it was absolutely delicious.
My husband had onion bhajis followed by a chicken, garlic and mushroom curry. He found his as equally delicious!

Probably the best indian takeaway Iโve had! Only ever tried during lockdown, the prawns are something else! Absolutely huge.
Tried here after a recommendation from my daughter. Was a bit rowdy when we arrived with a large party of blokes on a birthday meal, but the staff kept us up to date because of the wait, which was worthwhile as the food was excellent. The mixed platter was the best we have had and the curry was excellent with the chicken succulent . The decor could do with an update, but don't let that put you off. Would definitely recommend.
My wife and I went here last night, early Friday evening when it was quiet. Our first visit. Had a very tasty meal, really nice flavours, expertly created. Service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend this place. Extensive menu for every taste, and very reasonable prices. We'll be back soon.
