Came here today as a family of 12 and the service was amazing a massive thank you to mark that could not do enough for us , the food was lovely we would definitely visit again xx
Went for my birthday food was freshly cooked and delicious. Staff very friendly and bar service excellent. Really enjoyed it and we will definitely be back have already recommended it.

We came on Sunday for the carvery and we weren’t disappointed. It was one of the best carveries we have had.The beef was absolutely delicious and tender & a great selection of vegetables. The staff were very friendly & obliging & there was a great atmosphere. We will certainly be back.
Me and my wife had our wedding reception here and the whole thing was set up beautifully by the manager Peter. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us and our guests. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. We eat here regularly and the food is always amazing with great prices. Highly recommended any day of the week
Called in with friends for lunch.
Ordered drinks and barman was called away so we were left waiting for a glass for the bottled drink. Ordered food.bit of a nightmare.came out 1 dish at a time and items were missing. Food was hot and tasty when it did arrive. The Manageress came to check all was ok and apologised. Explained they had recently taken over and are very short staffed. Lovely pub and staff just need more staff. Very big menu. Worth a trip. Bear with them while they have staff issues.
Visited when on holiday in the area. Had a few drinks and a meal. Place wasnt too busy when entered, No one was at the bar when we first entered and had to wait a couple of minutes for staff to serve us but friendly staff and where always there afterwards. Meal was cooked fresh, hot and decent enough for the price. Nothing special but good value for the price for food and drink.
Went for a family dinner on Sunday, carvery was lovely. Service and staff very friendly. Nice atmosphere,not too busy.

Went for a meal with my best friend and her 22 month old after visiting the farm on a Tuesday lunch time. The gentleman who served us, Craig I believe, was lovely, regularly checked on us, nice and chatty and great with my friends daughter. We sat near the kids area so she could play and she was perfectly content. Food was lovely and restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. Especially as a lunch option when visiting White Post Farm or Wheelgate as prices are good and better food than what you can get at the attractions.
Good car park. Unfortunately, like many pubs today, kitchen had closed at 9pm on Saturday. The service was friendly and the beer and crisps were good. Friends who had arrived a little earlier were able to get chips. We will have to arrive earlier next time.
Nice pub, very quiet for a Weds night. Only marked down because the food was expensive for what we got. A nachos sharer at nearly £14 as asked for pulled pork on top, it was probably a dessert spoon worth of pulled pork plus a huge lump of avocado in the guacamole. Not great, and wouldn't have it again. Other diners food looked and smelt better.
Nice place, but not the small town corner pub I expected. They’re part of a bigger chain. Just had a pint, staff wasn’t super enthusiastic even though they weren’t exactly busy on a quiet night…
Very good play area for kids outside and inside. Standard family pub food and atmosphere. Lots of different rooms and areas to sit. We enjoyed our time there and will return. I have already mentioned this place to a couple of my friends with kids as we are always looking for new places to go.
Good food our friends who hadn’t been before enjoyed it. Friendly bar staff and waitresses. Love the offers that you have on. Will visit more regularly im sure.
The only own side was in the winter we came and we had to leave our coats on . Quite understand it’s a large building to heat . Hopefully heating costs improve for us all but won’t hold our breath lol. Thankyou
The grandchildren said the cowboy burgers were the best they had ever had, so a big thumbs up from me. Also has a fast EV charger which we've used in the past.
We popped in for a drink along our journey. We had a lovely pint served by friendly staff..

Went for lunch on Tuesday, greeted straight away by briony who was absolutely lovely. Mains and dessert were delicious. Chef on that day was Cai so thank you both for a lovely experience
