We kind of accidentally stumbled upon this place while in the area and decided to go in because it looks so nice from the outside (it's even nicer inside) lovely decor and atmosphere but most importantly amazing food & drinks! The hanging chicken & chorizo kebab was awesome and so flavourful, so was the coconut sweet potato pie! While all of this was absolutely delicious, nothing can compare to the cookie dough and ice cream combo (I picked the Oreo topping). Best dessert I've had in a long time! Our bartender was Dan and he was amazing and makes the best cocktails - he knows his stuff so definitely ask for recommendations if you're not sure what to order. Awesome experience overall and we will definitely be back!
Amazing, quirky and exciting! The staff were friendly and welcoming, regularly checking the table and providing a warm service. The atmosphere was great. The menu was modern, but exciting! The food tasted great and was well presented. Non alcoholic cocktail was tastey too!
We loved it here! We had a weekend away to celebrate our marriage and ended up coming here both nights. The restaurant was fantastic, would definitely recommend the rib eye! There was live music both nights which gave such a great atmosphere to the place. The cocktails were all phenomenal (pretty sure we worked our way through the entire menu!). Try the rhubarb martini! (See pics). Christian (one of the bar staff) was very friendly and great for drink recommendations, definitely a credit to the team! Although all the staff were very nice as well. If we're ever back in Farnham we will 100% come back here!
Lovely food, nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. I never knew pork crackling and a scotch egg could taste so nice! Good cocktail menu but not sampled on this occasion.
Been here a couple of times and the good was of a good standard. Hanging Kebabs and the Superfood Salad were very good!
Drinks menu is also extensive and the staff were very polite and helpful the last time we were there.
Lovely food and great location. Could get lost sitting outside or on the balcony watching the world go by. Love that most cocktails can be done without alcohol for us drivers 😁

Absolutely lovely place. Went for an anniversary meal. Food was brilliant lovely decor and vibe nice and relaxed. It's easter weekend and they had live music playing downstairs which added to the atmosphere. Service was excellent as well, in the menu they say that they can whip you up a cocktail off menu and the smashed out some very nice sex on the beaches and woo woos. Will definitely be coming again!

No ordinary Fish 'n' Chips! Great Staff, Steve the General Manager greeted us warmly, Nathaniel our waiter was very attentive & friendly, the chef, Carl cooked just the best fish and chips. Would highly recommend this place, trendy, but can still accommodate the older generation too. Spot on.

The Botanist in Farnham is overall a great place to visit. The atmosphere is brilliant with a unique, quirky, hipster-esque kinda vibe. They have a casual downstairs area which is generally walk ins only, while upstairs offers further tables which are possible to reserve. They also have live music performances downstairs (which you can still hear in the background upstairs), which you can enjoy alongside a meal or even just a few drinks off extensive drinks menu, including some tasty cocktails. The Botanist is good for both couples & groups.
For this particular visit my family & I went out for a meal, my sister chose the venue as it was her birthday. She had been before & thought it was great & so wanted to take the 3 of us there for her birthday (or more we take her). We were sat upstairs & initially were very cold as we were sat beneath tge aircon, we mentioned it to a memeber of staff who immediately went about finding a way to remedy it for us & offered us a table downstairs, but before we had a chance to decide the aircon was turned off & the problem was sorted. All the staff we emcountered were brilliant, but particular mention goes to our waiter, Toby. Toby was excellent at offering quality service as well as politely endearing my fussy family after a few drinks & positively contributing to our whole experience of the place. He perfectly executed a complex food order with great patience as well! He really made up for what the food sadly lacked. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Certainly a bit salty for our taste. Great ideas, but not great execution. But that could be a one off in the kitchen? I do intend to return, based on all other factors! Brilliant evening overall!

Came on bank holiday Monday and we were the only ones in there pretty much. Drinks were lovely, food was great minus a few things. Wings weren't crispy wings and no blue cheese sauce and the chips in the kebab were very dry/frozen style.
The cauliflower wings were AMAZING! As meat eaters these were gorgeous.
Would defo come back again on a busier night!
Nice drinks, friendly and helpful staff. However food was too salty and inedible to me, everything was full of salt. Had to leave half my food as I couldn't bear to risk my health for this.
Have been numerous times in the past and the food and service has always been a little hit and miss. We went again last week and the service was excellent. The limited edition hanging kebab was exceptional and a really nice atmosphere.

Being new to the area, we are trying out all of the local bars, pubs & restaurants to find our new go to places. Booking a table was easy on line at the Botanist in Farnham and we arrived on time. We were greeted and welcomed to our table on arrival and the level of customer service we received throughout our visit was very good! Friendly staff, waitresses and bar staff all providing a genuine uplifting experience! Something I know other places forget or treat as secondary, so well done guys! My partner and I had 4 cocktails each during our booking and they were very nice overall. I have been to other cocktail bars where they do much more in terms of presentation of the drinks or more quirky eg smoke and bubbles etc coming from the drinks & weird & wonderful colours or fizzing etc, but at the Botanist it’s much more a no nonsense cocktail bar. But make no mistake, the drinks are made with great flavours, choices & they also had many special valentines cocktails which we enjoyed. We didn’t eat during this visit as we had a table booked somewhere else for food, however the food reviews here look amazing, so next time we will have dinner or lunch too. All in all a lovely evening and we will be back, thanks for the great service & keep up the good work!!
Food was excellent, service was excellent, live music was great. Absolutely nothing negative to say.
Got four stars rather 5 as we wanted to start with coffees before ordering a meal. Not even luke warm. They did remove them and brought back hot coffees. The meal was generous and well cooked, taste was really good. Felt extremely good. Served mainly by a very young but helpful and friendly server. We had a work reunion of 3 people and we enjoyed our on the spur visit to the Botanist. We'll definitely go again....happy experience.
