First time visiting this place, and we had a great meal ,hot and very full of flavour. A great atmosphere, friendly staff, and no rush .
We had lunch booked next door but they wouldn’t seat us as we were too early for our booking so our daughter wanted to go into the pub with the pumpkins outside while we waited.
Popped in here and the service was so much better than the grumpy bunch next door. We only stayed for a quick drink but next time we are in Farnham we will be booking lunch here.
Thank you for the hospitality, letting us shelter from the rain and tolerating our kids. Look forward to eating with you soon. 😁
One of my new favourite places. A great patio for a summer day and lovely selection of Gins. We visited with 3 kids for Father's Day and had a lovely brunch.
Excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere even on a busy Saturday night. Local beers and great food with plenty of options, inc veggie and gluten free that cater to everyone.

3st time: Sunday roast is also great! Highly recommend beef.

Today had be there again food still remain high standard, but we had wait for 20mins to pay.
Fantastic evening out for my birthday.
On arrival we was greeted at the door, where we was asked to check in to the NHS app or we happily gave them our details to log into the system for us before being shown to our table.
Cocktails and mocktails are amazing and you can really taste the difference when they are made from fresh ingredients 😍.
Staff were always around to be seen and we was not left to long between drinks and meals which was fantastic 😊 even on a busy night.
Food had loads of fabulous flavours was really good 😍.
They hold 2 for £12 cocktail hour wed, Thurs,Friday 3-7pm
bottomless tapas mon-fri believe the times was between 3-6 had a few drinks by the time we got to the tapas talk 🙈
and Bottomless brunch over the weekends 😱.

Great service the staff were friendly and the overall experience was great. The food was tasty but the prices are expensive so I probably won't be going again as it's unaffordable for me unless it's for a really special occasion.
We had a lovely experience eating out to help out. Both our meals were great and our 3 year old really enjoyed his children's pasta meal.
I am very pleased with all. It's worth going to a lovely pub when the service is so good. 👌

Came down to Farnham for the weekend, went to the Castle Inn on Friday night for a quick drink, loved it so much that ended up spending the entire Saturday there. Amazing lunch with the family, good choices on the menu and special board, unsure what to have I followed the chef's recommendation and order the scallops and the special Surf 'n' Turf which were incredible, cooked to perfection. While not forgetting the service, being greeted with friendly smiles and great personality, Chloe's service definitely didn't go unnoticed. After the wonderful filling meal we decided the best plan of action would be to let everything settle with a few extra drinks in the patio out the back to make use of the sunny afternoon of which turned out to be the perfect sun trap. Will definitely be back again!

Football and a great footy menu, book a table as footy tables are limited, food was amazing we picked a share board from the footy menu and the. Cheese bacon chips, as well as another share board from there summer menu. Food was fantastic ☺️ atmosphere was great! Our next table is already booked! Come on England 🥳
Excellent visit to the Castle for a Saturday lunch. I brought my 93 y/o grandmother and the staff couldn’t have been better with helping with access, seating, logistics etc . Food was great and staff are very attentive
Really lovely gastropub down Castle Street in the picturesque centre of Farnham.
Have a visited a few times, but recently visited post-COVID (so it’s been a while!) and it was just as great as I remember - great staff, good food and reasonably priced. Around £35 for a shared starters, a main, two drinks and service.
Bonus of dogs allowed in the bar area where food is also served!
Just went for drinks. Lovely atmosphere, beautifully decorated for Christmas. Efficient staff.
Nice atmosphere, lots of seating I'm the restaurant around the back of the bar. Dog friendly. Menu has enough to have something for everyone, a few vegan choices for those that want it, and prices reasonable.
