We went here yesterday for the 1st time to celebrate Mother’s Day and what a fab choice ... great location, gorgeous decor and OMG the food is amazing!! We were sat upstairs and it felt more like a quaint home than a restaurant which was nice and relaxing! No one was on top of you and it was not noisy at all ... nice to go somewhere you can actually talk and enjoy the food than feeling like the need for shouting or that you are almost sharing food and space with the next table 😃 the menu and descriptions made us smile as some have a little story behind them. An array of choices and some you may not have tried before at a Thai restaurant ... like the lamb shank - a real recommendation if you like lamb 👌🏼 for the staters we had Tamarind prawns (so fresh), spring rolls and duck larb (a little dry and not packed with as much flavour as anticipated) ... 4 portions of each. For the mains we had crispy chicken that actually does taste like popcorn chicken (as per the description 😊), Paneang chicken (red curry), exotic mushroom gra pao (mixture of exotic mushrooms) veg phad thai 👌🏼😋 jasmine rice, sticky rice and pad khing veg (mixture of veg) packed with flavour ... infact it was all full of flavour! A good varied choice for vegetarians and vegans too 👍🏼 so if you haven’t gathered, we loved the restaurant 😂☺️👌🏼👍🏼😋 will DEFINITELY be going back! Only slight niggle if I had to give one is that initially it took us a while to get the waiter/waitresses attention, so had to wait a while for drinks and then to order starters, etc.. but eventually they were on top it ... it just gave us more time to talk and take photos in the beginning ☺️

First visit yesterday with my hubby. Loved the decor. Wasn’t busy at all but at least tables not on top of one and other. We had a lunch platter. I had giggling squid 1. It was lovely however I thought the duck was quite dry and didn’t taste any honey. hHubby had the hungry squid and although the Thai curry was very hot for him he enjoyed it. Dessert was gorgeous a choc mousse yum. Staff were attentive and polite Would definitely go back

Can even here for dinner last night and had an amazing experience! Seated quickly and drinks arrived promptly and so did our food! Considering they were fully booked and very busy the food was served quickly and was lovely! Our waiter was a young American man who was fantastic! Would highly recommend the lamb shank massaman curry!! Only downside is that the service charge is already added on, I would have actually tipped more than what was added on and like to make he decision bases on my experience!! Would definitely come again and recommend to anyone!

OMg! What a beautiful place! Fantastic decor, perfectly lit, not cramped, just perfect! And the food! Well......its out of this world! AND so much of it! I would recommend sharing most of the dishes as they are enormous. We ordered a dish each and it was WAY too much! Which pushed the price up considerably but hey!, next time we will share nicely :)

We went on 24 April for our second visit to the Giggling Squid Farnham , and once again we enjoyed a fantastic meal with great service . The menu is varied , it is not same old menu that many Thai restaurants have gone down. The seafood dishes are brilliant especially the Seabass Cha. We really like the different dishes - including the new Pad Thai with Giant Prawns - and importantly our 11&14 year old lived it too without really worrying that they would bite into a crazy hot chilli!! Definitely will return in the future with friends

Visited the Farnham restaurant for the first time for Sunday lunch. Very easy to book online, booked at 11am for a table at 1.15pm. Upon arrival shown immediately to our table by friendly staff. Drinks and food ordered promptly, with drinks arriving in a few minutes and the food in about 15 minutes, which was impressive as the restaurant was nearly full. We chose two of the "Tapas Sets" and a couple of extra side dishes. The food was plentiful, fresh and hot and tasted excellent. Service was efficient and attentive and we had absolutely no problem with the prices, which were very good value or a 10% service charge being added. Will definitely make this restaurant a regular haunt and recommend to family and friends.

Fabulous authentic Thai food in Grade Listed surroundings tastefully given a contemporary twist. You'll be spoilt for choice, best go again and again to try the whole menu!

Food is awesome, but I actually enjoy the lunch time tapas, rather than the larger dinner portions, it’s better value. Great flavours and lovely attentive staff.

A lovely meal in a lovely restaurant. Different, 'out of the usual' dishes, too. Well worth visiting.

First time visit after several recommendations. A great Thai restaurant. Service was excellent, food was prompt to the table and the atmosphere on a Saturday night was great. We will be coming back. £70 for a couple.

Lovely dinner, friendly team and the most delicious cocktails. We watched CK making our third and final one - a delicious expresso martini beautifully presented with flaked and toasted coconut. He's got a talent. Thank you for a great birthday evening.

Although an expanding chain with each location having its own character, the food is consistently good wherever you go. For me the winning dish is the Giggling Set (also called the One Giggling) on the lunch menu - a complete meal on one dish. All very reasonably priced.

Went on a Saturday at lunchtime. We were early and therefore one of the first to order. Service was good and food tasty. I had the pork dumplings to start and then chicken pad Thai and my husband had the 'royal squid' Thai tapas (lunch menu). Staff were nice and refilled our sweet chilli sauce promptly when asked. Ive been to this restaurant a few times and would recommend.

We had a very nice experience here. Unfortunately we could only get a table at 21:30 which was late to start with and then it took a while to order food. Once it arrived though it was excellent. Would recommend the sticky rice. Atmosphere was good, it felt like a modern Thailand. Overall a very good experience and good staff, worth a visit

Really impressed with the quality of the food. We had a platter for two to start and then prawn pad Thai and melting beef w/rice as the main. They were all really delicious, but probably won’t go for the melting beef in summer as it’s quite rich. The menu has an interesting range of Thai food that I have not seen in other Thai restaurants before, so would definitely visit again. It’s reasonably priced and it was very busy even on a Sunday evening. The service was really good and the team made us feel welcomed

We booked a table for 9:30 as this was the only time avaliable on a busy Saturday. Great tasting food, well presented and friendly service from the staff. The food was quite slow coming out considering we were the only people waiting for our mains. Was definitely worth the wait. I would recommend this place (and it's sticky rice)! Although booking in advance is recommended for earlier dining. We also discovered a couple of items we wanted on the menu had sold old - presumably because of a busy evening. I look forward to coming back here.

Lovely food, very busy. Friendly staff. Just don't like 12.5% service charge, makes it expensive when you have rounds of drinks on the bill

First time visiting Farnham and this is most defiantly a place I will come again. If you are from up north, Giggling Squid is exactly like Chilli banana(see previous reviews). Came here with a few friends for food and drinks. The decor is world class and if you are in a relationship you will immediately think this is a date night place. Quality service, spacious tables and drinks came quickly. The food was sensational and all 4 of us loved the presentation. Sticky chicken is perfect and the noodles make for a great combination. You have to come here. There are plenty of venues around the south regions so no excuses.

Solid spot for Thai food - definitely recommend the salt and pepper squid (the squid themselves weren’t super flavorful but tasted great with the spicy sauce) and the chili basil prawns

We visited for lunch at the weekend. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We had never been before so we ordered quite a bit of food as we didn't know what we liked, Thai is a new thing for us. Our bill came to £60 which i thinks quite expensive for lunch, but it was a treat as we had a voucher. I liked the Tapas set lunch, and the prawn crackers, and roti were nice. It was quite busy and there wasnt any social distance between tables as such. I enjoyed the experience and would probably return.
