Very friendly staff and effective staff.
The restaurant was packed, but despite this, we still got all 3 of our orders within 4 minutes
Portion sizes were also very good.
Highly recommended the spicy pork and sweet chilli chicken.
Updated: Came back after one year, they changed their recipes and it's a huge improvement. I really enjoy eating comfort food here more than before. The staff was very friendly and helpful đź‘Ť

Got the vegetable bibimbap with tofu. Honestly the only fast food I can have without feeling guilty, it’s full of nutrients and tastes amazing. Staff is always so friendly and genuine every time I visit, I would highly recommend.
We came here today for the first time. My work colleague recommended it. Fantastic service from brilliant staff. He advised us and recommended some food and said just try this. I was so impressed the food was outstanding. Delicious so much choice great sized portions. Clean welcoming what more can you want. I have never had Korea food before and after this experience I can't wait to come back.

Really like this restaurant. Big portions.Quick service.Directly opposite The Vue cinema, it's ideally placed if you've only got a few minutes spare before the start of your movie.
Could do with a few more seats as it is proving to be very popular. The Kimchi is super super authentically hot. However neither of us could eat it. Really good vegan option with Tofu. Chicken Katsu very good as well.

Good food and reasonable price. Good portions. The place is small but clean. There are 4 tables in which one table can sit 4 people. There's a counter for 4 people. I recommend bibimbap with toppings.
So exciting to have something different in Farnborough! I had the veggie bibimbap which is really nice and tasted really fresh. The chilli tofu is ok, I'm not a big fan of soft tofu. I wish there was a vegetarian or vegan katsu curry option but it's still a great place to grab lunch in town.
My partner and I are regulars: gorgeous food, the service is wonderful, unfaultable prices and a great, quiet and chilled atmosphere. Cannot go wrong with Pick a Bap. Food is always hot, fresh and tender. I go for the pork and beef items whilst my partner prefers the chicken; it's all cooked to perfection and the spring rolls are perfect with the additional choice of 5 lovely sauces. I cannot suggest it enough, perfect place for people who haven't tried Korean food before: trust me, you'll love it! The staff are wonderful, warm and endlessly helpful. Thank you.

Great food, prices and very friendly staff. If you like chicken katsu, don’t hesitate, you won’t find a better one miles around. If you enjoy Korean food, even better, this is the place for you. Recommended to everyone I know, a very pleasant surprise.

So...
When I first ate here, I was disappointed. I was homesick when I first came to Farnborough so I was ecstatic to learn that there were a multitude of East Asian food places in the area, including Pick A Bap. They carried my favorite Korean dish: Beef Bulgogi.
So I had the beef bulgogi at Pick A Bap and...it was not beef bulgogi. It was grainy and didn't have any depth of flavor that, to me, characterises beef bulgogi. I have eaten beef bulgogi in Seoul, Vancouver (large Korean population), and Seattle (large Korean population) -- Pick A Bap didn't do it like it's done in those cities. The other nearby East Asian fast serve places didn't do beef bulgogi any better. I realized Pick a Bap did it the British way. Oh well, I knew not to go back.
HOWEVER
They went through a refurb of the restaurant and menu a few months back. Each bowl now comes with rice, a small salad and glass noodles, plus your protein(s) and sauces of choice. Most items are ÂŁ6.95-8.95, which is a great price for the foods they are making now. These changes were VERY smart. No other local place does a bowl like this, so it's a major reason I love going here now. My partner goes once a week and gets a Korean Fried Chicken every time. I usually get the friend tofu when I join. The whole deal in taste and price is better than similar offers in the area. The staff are also seem to happier since the refurb, though I'm not sure what led to that.
If you're in the area and craving East Asian, Pick A Bap is worth a stop.
I haven't tried the beef bulgogi again but will update this review if I ever do.
