All the good we order was made with love and it was delicious.
We booked to have lunch the night before. The Crab and Anchor had been highly recommended by friends. Our daughter is coeliac, therefore it was vital for her to have a safe meal. She had a children's roast chicken and loved it. She also had an Eton mess for dessert. Absolutely brilliant. There were 8 of us in our party and we all had an amazing lunch and dessert. A definite for yummy food and lovely staff.
My wife and I have just come home from having a roast dinner here.
I had the lamb and my wife had the beef.
I must say this was the best pub roast I think I have ever had.
Compliments to the chef.
I am usually a very fussy eater with at least something to complain about but not in this case.

We always know that when we go to this restaurant we get top notch food, and at very reasonable prices. Wine of a very good standard and service exceptional as well, as usual
Wonderful food and very good service. Desert menu took an age to arrive and our drinks order was wrong but apart from that, it's very good.
Easy parking, clean toilets.
Seating comfortable and relaxed.
Not the cheapest menu but the quality is excellent and the bill was a lot more reasonable with a 25% discount.

Over 5 years living in farnborough, I really thought there was nowhere good to eat until I discovered the crab and anchor.
The menu had so many amazing choices that I really struggled what to choose, which generally never happens. They all had my mouth watering.
I opted for the deep fried Brie as a starter, steak Diane for main and apple crumble for dessert. The deep fried Brie had no business being so good. It was an absolute chefs kiss and I could have had it for my main and dessert too.
The main was delicious. I ended up with two thin steaks rather than a big juicy one that I had imagined, but it was still so good that I had no complaints.
As for the crumble. Well, I do love a good crumble. And good crumbles are hard to find in most places, so it’s always a gamble for dessert, but the rest of the food had me confident it would be worth it. I wasn’t wrong.
There’s such a great selection of drinks as well, with multiple beers on tap allowing me a pint of Staropromen with my meal.
The staff were brilliant too. Very polite and friendly, attentive to our table even when the place got very busy (it was a Saturday evening) and as we left they all said goodbye in a much more than perfunctory fashion which left us feeling that the whole experience had been perfect for a meal out.
I would give more stars if I could.
How do i rate a place higher? From the friendly service, to the outdoor music we felt right at home here. Then the food came out and OMG it was amazing and fresh. We loved every minutes of our late lunch at Crab & Anchor. If like me you love muscles, order the Moules Mariniere, i've east muscles at a fair few places but my compliments go to the chef at Crab & Anchor! it was the best i've ever had, a health portion as well as fresh and tasty, as i write this my mouth is actually watering. Love Love Love the Crab & Anchor!
Everything was delicious 😋 cooked to perfection I had the belly pork. And King pawns starter and the pinacalda was very good.
Lovely decor , friendly staff . I was concerned about the large menu but the food was excellent, not the cheapest , but I think worth ever penny . Very tasty . Unfortunately no room for dessert so maybe next time
The menu here is fantastic and offers a wide-range of cuisine, there's something for everybody (including good vegetarian options). The atmosphere and decor was tasteful. The food was delicious, some of the best I've had. Highly recommend The Crab & Anchor.
Food was great, be prepared to pay high prices for anything that isnt burger and chips. Good variety and nice staff. There are birthdays at the resturant too so if you don't like singing happy birthday 4 times during your meal then give this a miss!

Lovely food but a shame about the length of time for food. Mains were not too bad, but waiting over half an hour for desserts was a bit ridiculous!
Great food, outdoor seating, dog friendly (even offering a dog bowl of water), welcoming staff, a little pricey but not when on Eat Out To Help Out :)
