Had a lovely meal there this evening. Food came quickly and large portions. The French onion soup and fish pie were so good.

We booked to have lunch the night before. The Crab and Anchor had been highly recommended by friends. Our daughter is coeliac, therefore it was vital for her to have a safe meal. She had a children's roast chicken and loved it. She also had an Eton mess for dessert. Absolutely brilliant. There were

I must say this was the best pub roast I think I have ever had.

Everything was delicious 😋 cooked to perfection I had the belly pork. And King pawns starter and the pinacalda was very good.
Lovely decor , friendly staff . I was concerned about the large menu but the food was excellent, not the cheapest , but I think worth ever penny . Very tasty . Unfortunately no room for dessert so maybe next time
The menu here is fantastic and offers a wide-range of cuisine, there's something for everybody (including good vegetarian options). The atmosphere and decor was tasteful. The food was delicious, some of the best I've had. Highly recommend The Crab & Anchor.
Food was great, be prepared to pay high prices for anything that isnt burger and chips. Good variety and nice staff. There are birthdays at the resturant too so if you don't like singing happy birthday 4 times during your meal then give this a miss!

Wonderful meal and service as always. Not been able to visit for a while but the food was delicious as ever - and the lovely staff made us feel so welcome with amazing service. Couldn’t wish for a more perfect lunch. Well done 👍👏
Lovely food but a shame about the length of time for food. Mains were not too bad, but waiting over half an hour for desserts was a bit ridiculous!
Great food, outdoor seating, dog friendly (even offering a dog bowl of water), welcoming staff, a little pricey but not when on Eat Out To Help Out :)
