Beautiful food - 3 different meals all cooked to perfection and arrived quickly and tasted beautiful! I had a huge portion but couldn't resist the millionaire cheesecake! reasonable prices and lovely surroundings in the pub. Would highly recommend for a meal out in the area. The waitresses were chatty and friendly aswell! First time we visited but will certainly return!
Well I can say you made my 50th birthday celebrations on Saturday a night to remember....the venue, staff and food was top notch....nothing was to much trouble would recommend holding any celebration here.... I know most of my friends will re visit thankyou so very much....juliet xxx
At short.notice the New Inn hosted us for.my son's 18th. Nothing was too much trouble, they let me put.up decorations , bring a cake along. The food and staff were amazing . Thank you to all of you we had a fantastic evening xx
Always such a pleasure going to the New Inn. Its our favourite place to go on any occasion. always great service, nice atmosphere, and the food is always beyond excellent.!

Our waitress Andrea was lovely! She had a table who were being very awkward in my opinion and she dealt with the situation with great professionalism and remained calm and high spirited the while time.
There was a slight hiccup with our meals not coming out together but she dealt with it immediately (these things happen some times so we were fine with it)
She attended everyone very well, going the extra to offer extra plates or spoons ect for people who wanted to try each others puddings etc.
If I owed a restaurant I'd definatley want her as a member of my staff.

Very enjoyable food a slightly larger piece of chicken in the New York chicken would of been nice I would trade of traded bigger chicken for the greenery they added but that is personal opinion or peas I'm not one for leaf's on my food. My wife and child both enjoyed their meals and both had a roast and if you ask nicely for some of the pork crackling they might give it to you like my daughter did and great table service during the meal. It looked so good so I tucked it before eating as you can see oh and the sundae went down well too
Had a lovely experience here as we came for my Mums birthday. The staff were extremely friendly, the food was lush and the atmosphere was great. The staff even surprised us by putting a candle in my Mums cheesecake. Will definitely be back! Tasha was amazing!
Stopped here using Britstops. Mike and his team were extremely welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was great pub grub...I had the award winning beef pie and it was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.
The pub, staff, food and garden are all very very good. But 12 pound for 2 pints.. How can that be justified when you can get 8 pint cans of Stella for £11 at tesco.

Huge garden with small play area, ideal for a sunny Sunday lunch in outdoor only covid times. Plenty of tables away from the kids if preferred. Ordering on the app easy. Drinks came quickly, meals a little longer, but they were flat out and there were several staff serving. Great Sunday roast at a reasonable price, decent portion of meat, particularly liked the huge Yorkshire puds!
Popped in for lunch during a nightmare journey, where accidents and road works kept closing roads, on way home to Sussex. Got a friendly welcome despite being short staffed because of illness.
Dog friendly in the bar, we had the crispy chicken basket and burger.
We came in last Sunday. We were warned that food may take awhile due to the pub being short staffed. We were very impressed as everything came out in good time, food was great. Kids had a blast in the play area outside.
Shout out to the chef, as we found out on leaving that he was the only one in the kitchen!

Food was good, my only qualms were the deserts taking a long time to arrive. Otherwise, all good and the park outside was a nice addition for the kids.
Staff were lovely and attentive. Really lovely meal out there...couldn't fault it. As a coeliac they did a great gf menu. Very impressed.
Great to have food served all day. Delighted to find that included full English breakfast, with veggie option for my other half. Really tasty food. We'll be back!
Had a lovely meal last night, sat outside and the tables were sufficiently spaced apart. The pub had a one way system in place and the staff all wore clear masks. Felt very comfortable there.
