Stunning restaurant. Staff, food and multiple drinks were amazing. Lovely decor, clearly a lot of thought and attention has gone into everything. Overall really nice environment and really nice food! Would recommend!

Great first experience. Food is of a high standard. Beetroot and whipped goats cheese starter was delicious. Fillet steak very good but on the pricey side when side and sauce added. Personally the flatbread is overpriced and the garlic butter offered with the steak would probably be better served as a sauce as it didn't melt well on my rare steak. Definitely the type of restaurant Faringdon needs, but would like to see the menu slightly cheaper. Will return for an occasion, but not in a hurry to spend over £100 on 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks.

The restaurant only had another full table when we arrived so we were led to our table straight away. All the food we ordered was delicious the menu had a nice variety with something a bit different from other menus we looked at from other venues. Everything cooked to perfection the nicest meal we had had in a long time. All the staff were welcoming and helpful with regards to our questions on the menu. The only thing that was strange was the lack of atmosphere, the restaurant was a bit quiet for a Saturday evening which is a shame, this restaurant needs supporting. Would definitely recommend this restaurant, beautiful food and reasonably priced, thank you to all the staff for a lovely evening.

Very good food. Very attentive staff. We went with two children. The children’s meal was fish and was to the same quality as the adult meals.

Went to Floyds Grill last night and it was incredible. The venue and decor is fantastic, a real treat in Faringdon, and the staff were perfectly attentive the whole meal. Special shout out to Chris who was super welcoming throughout the evening. Most importantly: the food was amazing. My fiancee had the fillet and I had the sirloin, both medium rare and both utterly incredible. My fiancee has stated numerous times that it was the best steak she has ever had which only mildly hurts my home BBQ ego because they were bloody amazing. We also had the Croquette and Turine starters to share which were to die for. We're definitely going to be back and will recommend Floyds to all our friends.

On the positive side, the place was clean, the service was good, the staff were friendly and the steak was really tasty. The wine was nice and I’d eat here again. The negative for me was that my steak was overcooked, which I fed back, the portion size was small for the price and the chips weren’t hot. Easy things to remedy.

An amazing place . The design and atmosphere are perfect - chilled out - feels like eating with friends when you love their decor. The service is perfect . The food is innovative , beautifully presented - we all had food envy of each other’s food while not wanting to give up our own - quite an achievement! If we could take this place to where we live we would be there every week - even if only popping in for a beer at the exquisite bar . A real find . Can’t recommend the place or the marvellous staff enough for their passion and commitment.

Great place we just happened on out of luck. They have themed evenings and a comedy night every last Thursday of the month. Service was very attentive and efficient. Food was delicious. Great job guys!

What service! We dropped in for lunch (no booking), all the staff are super friendly and even kindly offered to hold our daughter briefly so we could eat our food whilst it was still hot (she was overtired but refused to nap as she has fomo!). The food was yummy as always (you have to try the prawn cocktail) and for a change we had the burger. The onion rings are the best I've ever had - if you haven't tried this place yet you must, it's worth the price you pay 🙂

Popped in for a coffee and we ended up having brunch and met a really lovely couple that sat next to us. The food was amazing, lovely place, great atmosphere for a Sunday. Owner was very pleasant. We will defiantly be going back-two big birthdays coming up!

We had a brilliant night at Floyds in Faringdon. We were a party of 25 people and the night ran extremely smoothly. We pre-ordered from a set menu and arranged a table plan. Chris then managed the whole thing so we could sit back and enjoy the night. The food was excellent (steak is outstanding) and the decor is really lovely. I would highly recommend for any occasion but especially if you need a venue to host a group night. I will certainly be back. I’ve heard the Sunday roasts are delicious! Thank you Chris for such a great night.

We went for dinner, had the chateaubriand which was beautiful and a delicious sticky toffee dessert. The wine list is varied and they do some lively cocktails. Service was excellent and Chris the manager went above and beyond. We were so impressed we went back the next day for a Sunday roast which was as good. Would highly recommend.

Edit May 2022: We were determined to try again after the owner got in touch (thank-you) because (as below) this is one of our closest restaurants. This time we went on a Saturday evening. The place was busy and the service was as good as it was before; however, the food was much improved over the Sunday lunch. We both enjoyed tasty starters and meat main dishes and plenty of it. Based on our renewed experience we will probably go again. ------------------------------------------ Mothers Day Sunday lunch for 6 of us. 4 different starters ordered of which only 1 was enjoyed - scotch egg, very good apparently. The leek, focaccia and beignets not at all enjoyed. For the roast; the beef was nice but way too little (1 slice - yes, really), bream nice, pork ok. House wine ok. All in all only one of us had two courses that was fully enjoyed. That's simply not good enough. Over £180 paid for this. Service was great - no issues. All home hungry. If Sunday lunch is a reflection of the standard and expectation then, rather sadly, we won't be back. A real shame because this is one of the closest restaurants to us and we all had high hopes.
