This coffee house / deli is utterly charming, sells a really lovely variety of coffees, gorgeous home made cakes and a scrumptious pork and back pudding sausage roll! Very very relaxing and chilled atmosphere overlooking the market place. We love to support independent businesses and this is easily one of the best you could visit. Highly recommended.

Small but cosy coffee shop selling good quality tea and coffee, and delicious hot chocolate! The croissant were lovely too. It also sells many food related products, so well worth a visit.

Best mocha I've ever had. Absolutely delicious and I'll be coming back. Friendly service, too. Helped me pick out a good coffee to make at home.

Excellent coffee in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Although it can be a bit tight. Lovely homemade cakes and a bread pudding too die for. Make sure you ask for cream with it.

I have visited twice. The first time was a quiet Sunday and we had plenty of room. The coffee was great and the cake was lovely. On my second visit, I couldn't get seated. You can't knock a place for not having enough space when they have no room to expand. Visit if you can get in

Never been to Farringdon before and found this little gem on Google maps. We were meeting family arriving by bus so perfect position. Weather was horrible but the welcome so warm. We found out they had only recently opened and hope they do really well. We had two small children with us and they too were made very welcome. Will definitely go back again.

Consistently superb coffee with the odd piece of homemade cake from Jane and Lisa. It's so worth the trip from Lechlade; Ue coffee beans in a cup, delivered with a smile -what more do you want ?

I suspect some of the reviews here refer to an earlier establishment in these premises because Stay Grounded is very much a coffee shop with delicious home made cakes and interesting, sometimes quirky, deli things to take home with you. If you wish for a great understanding of coffee (with temptations on the side) overlooking an historic market square, you've arrived at the correct place. The second or third time you go in there the proprietor, Jane Rennells, not only remembers your name but how you like your coffee down to individuals' peccadillos around the time of day and whether that merits a cappuccino or not. If you are out walking (with your dog or not), running, cycling or just waiting for your prescription, it's a great place to check on the heartbeat of Faringdon. Not only can you see a lot of what is going on through the window but you're bound to meet an acquaintance and enjoy the banter. If you are visiting the town, don't be afraid to ask about Faringdon's attractions. Someone will know. If it's full (the only down side is that it can be at certain times of the day) someone in there will be happy to offer advice. If not, Jane or Lisa will be happy to oblige with the lowdown.
