Really nice to find The Good Intent, now Trinity Tavern open and refurb has brought this pub a fresh new feel. The young barmaid was very welcoming and Harvey's Best bitter tried before purchase, something I always do, its a good test of a decent pub and a pint was bought. Plenty of comfortable seating, soft music in background food on offer but not tried although the menu looked good. Locals friendly. Worth a visit.

Incredible pub and service! They have hosted a couple of events for me and always excellent. But today, wanting to watch the semi final of the woman's world cup and they opened early for us. Great pub, beautifully decorated, good prices, excellent atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub with outside Tiki bar and seating which is great when the sun's out. No faults at all, great choice of beer and drinks and always full with lots of atmosphere. Highly recommend if having a drink in Fareham.

What a fab pub. Had an amazing night out watching the band 'Something Else'. It was our first ever visit and the food was great and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We booked a table for 8 people so we could eat then watch the band and we were right at the front. We also turned up with 10 people and they managed to accommodate us without any fuss. We will deffo be back 👍 Thanks for a great night 🙂

OMG, having 50 years of rumours about this pub clouded my expectations. What a revelation, entering the establishment I was still expecting the worst, how wrong could I be. The bar staff were very welcoming and there is a good range of draught beers, lagers and cider. The food, you could not call it fine dining, but value for money it definitely is. The long haired admiral had a Lasagne, with chips, and I had Chilli and half and half rice/chips all for 17 quid. Well worth it. Others in the group had burgers with add ons, cheese, mushrooms etc. Everyone was complimentary about their meal. The drinks were very good value less than £7 for me and the long haired admiral. The service was brilliant and the staff were great. Now to the main event, the karaoke was brilliant, I don't have to say anything more. What a great evening we had.

The most brilliant bar staff. Friendly, and helpful. Hopefully you recover from your war wounds fast Steve! If anyone asks why Steve isn't working on any particular day it's because I've given him the day off!

Place came recommended and it's a lovely place but as a wheelchair user you have to hope they see you looking through the main door. If they had an online order system I would not hesitate to give 5/5 but for now I think 4 is very fair
