Converted church with some great original features.
Food was served very quickly, within 5 minutes, despite being a busy Saturday afternoon. The food was absolutely top-notch!
The Mexican brunch was really, really good! The egg was cooked to perfection. The beans were spiced with the sauce very well. I would have licked the plate if I could!! Sooo good!
The crispy chicken noodles were also very good. The chicken was deliciously crispy. The noodles were cooked well, not over done or soggy. The plate was very well balanced in flavour.
For a chain pub, the food was absolutely amazing. Well done, Slug and Lettuce!
As an aside, the toilets were stunningly decorated!!

Had a lovely brunch in here today. Visited a few times and food is always delicious. The wait times for food and drink is some times quite long though. Great vegetarian options and options that kids enjoy too. Recommend this place.

Had two visits in two days. Ordered via phone app. Food arrived as described and we were happy.
Nice and quiet during the early afternoon.
On the second day all was good except the time waiting for food and drinks to arrive.
Will certainly return and stay longer when time allows.

Amazing cocktails, best Pinacoladas! Shout out to Sarah who told us about the reduced lunch prices so we’ve come back again. Loved the cocktails made by Frankie!!

Today we came for a hen do, can honestly say that it was lovely. The whole process from booking (with John) to the actual afternoon tea today (server Luke) was amazing.. we were able to decorate and all dietary requirements were catered for. Would definitely recommend!

We popped in for cocktails and some food. We were served by Amber, Jordan and Camzin. Banana colanda x2 made by Camzin tasted really nice, would have them again. We also had Confessions of a Chocoholic, Zero Flocks Given, which is very big and lasts for a very long time. Also had a pineapple gin, orange whisky, pineapple vodka. We did try alot and had a lovely time, the staff were very helpful and patient. We will come again :)

Sam and Michael delivered an excellent experience for my fellow colleagues and I. After a long day awaiting the break from our office we were delighted by the service that they provided in teaching us how to make cocktails. They were polite, friendly, and most importantly informative. Would highly recommend the experience, especially if instructed by these two 10/10 would recommend

Slug and Lettuce Fareham Portsmouth: All dressed up and everywhere to go was the theme of this outlet. The bar was fitted out for Halloween if you like that sort of commercialism. The atmosphere was lively and well frequented with customers. Very upmarket furnishings. Well staffed in and friendly. Open late at weekends when the place
is heaving. Obviously the place to be seen at. Food reasonably priced and adequate. A place l would recommend and visit again

Frazer and mikey - Absolute diamonds! Suc friendly service and made us feel so welcome! If you’re served by them you are very lucky to get such an amazing experience. Thanks for making my time so memorable, will 100% be back again very soon! Thanks

I was served by Amber at the bar and had an incredible evening, Amber’s service was quick and charismatic! The evening was amazing and the drinks were worth the price! Staff were quick to sort any issues and Amber particularly always seemed busy and eager to help! Will be returning!

I dare say I ventured to the Slug and Lettuce expecting a mediocre experience at best, however I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of staff and level of professionalism with which they carried out their duties behind the bar and on the floor of the restaurant.
The food was wholesome and homely; I had sausage and mash, being the less adventurous of my girlfriend and I. My lady friend opted for the far more exotic cheese and bacon burger and claimed it was like pixies moonwalking on her taste buds. Needless to say I told her to stop being so dramatic, the main point being she enjoyed her food thoroughly, as did I.
2-4-1 cocktails are always a bonus, allowing one to get pleasantly wasted for a relatively low price, with multiple vivid colours in your beverage as well.
Courtney, Heidi and Katya deserve special mention for their above and beyond attitude towards their jobs, as well as their down to earth behaviour which I appreciated greatly.
Thanks Slug & lettuce, will be back soon!

Mondays best 50% off menu , love there breakfast good quality tasting sausages n bacon . And if you get Fern as your server you have it jackpot !!! Lovely lady friendly nothing too much trouble ,checks back to see all OK ,need anything or more drinks . Also happy to help you with menu if you stuck what to have . I like it here, though will say menu could be more 'Fareham Friendly' as do find menu lacks jacket potatoes , good selection of sandwiches / wraps /Panini's x

I have never experienced service as awful as this. We were not spoken to nicely and there was absolutely no professionalism when dealing with complaints about cold food, drinks not arriving and finding a chip in the middle of a salad, instead we were asked to leave. I cannot believe we have been treated in such a way and that they felt it acceptable to kick out a heavily pregnant women at her baby shower. Will not be returning.

Friendly staff, and great service from Paige and Jess! Always a good atmosphere. Food is delicious! Best place to go on a weekend in Fareham without a doubt. 241 cocktails and 2 Jagèrbombs for £6- can't beat it!

Went yesterday and wasn’t great. Found a table wasn’t very busy when we arrived, they quickly took our drink order, no problems. Ordered food but took forever to come out and there weren’t many people at all. Finished sat for ages waiting for them to notice us but they kept avoiding coming over, ordered puddings and waited 45 minuets, got fed up so went to pay the bill. Stood by the tills for everyone to just walk past and ignore us, went to the bar to be ignored again, finally got their attention said we wanted to pay the bill and wanted to cancel our pudding order to just get a reluctant sorry. Definitely won’t be returning again anytime soon. Shame really, used to be lovely.

Place felt and looked very unclean. Pub was empty husband still had to wait to be served as no staff behind bar. There was no draughty beer available only lager and cider. I had a vodka and coke which was served in a small whiskey glass, filled to the brim with coke. Wasn't even asked how much coke we wanted. Was not easy to carry to table without spilling. Well overpriced a single vodka and coke and a pint of Amstel (cheap lager) over £8, Will definitely not be returning, much better cleanliness and service at the lord Arthur Lee (Wetherspoons)

Was there for a night out with friends. Fab atmosphere with live music & Dj. There was a wedding going on from the daytime & the singer sung there first dance for them which was a lovely touch & nice to be a part of. Friendly & efficient staff & great food. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible went there for breakfast with my son as go there quite often stood around for ages calling for someone as no one there no child breakfast on new menu then my son ordered two babychinno as he's had before this time it was just milk so asked the lady if she could add hot chocolate powder to them and mix as one and said I'd pay for the scoop was told point blank no if I want hot chocolate then I'll have to pay for new one even though I'd already paid for two babychinno (didn't get money back) eventually breakfast arrived sausages where cold so didn't eat them and two poached eggs where rock hard like the had been previously cooked and then warmed up terrible food terrible service (no excuse we where the only customers)

Imagine you’re baby shower party being kicked out of slug and lettuce for apparently being intimidating . Only saw this waitress once. So my partner is so upset as we’ve done nothing. The food and service was awful, no cutlery on the table my son wasn’t brought his drink, the food was stale and cold. The manager was ignorant and point blank rude never apologised for anything I don’t think I’ll coming back unless I get a written apology from their head office as my partner who is heavy pregnant is distraught and so up set of the managers behaviour and how she has abused her.

Waited 20 min to be even acknowledged by a waiter... than he started serving others that just came in. Didn’t had a lot of time as baby was starting to get frustrated. Won’t be recommending or coming back. They didn’t even see us leave. A simple “Hi, will be with you in a minute..” would’ve done the job! Welcome to serving people!
