My husband is coeliac and it's so nice to have somewhere locally that we can get a gluten free take away. The portions are quite small but we learnt to order more and it was still under £30 for the 4 of us (2 adults a 16 year old and 12 year old)

Very good, portion size was good and the fish was delicious. Chips were a little disappointing but overall a really good meal and excellent value for money

Really nice Food. Fed a family of five for just under £20. 2 lots of Nuggets, Mozz sticks, 2 battered sausages, Chicken pie, Fritter, peas, gravy and an Ex large chips. All cooked really nicely and tasted lovely. Friendly lady. Take a number and return in 10mins. Covid kerbside/doorway ordering currently. Defo recommended.

Great fish and chips and staff are friendly. Portion size is on the smaller side, but still pretty good value for money.

We have just moved to Wickham and made the short walk into the village to Wickham Fisheries, safe to say we are very lucky to have this shop on our doorstep. Lovely food and people.

Best fish and chips my son and I have ever tasted. Had intended to eat in restaurant in Wickham but decided to have fish and chips eaten in car. Best decision we could have made.

Don't worry about the negative feedback some have put, its not a fair representation of the place at all. They have a chip only fryer for Coeliacs but you need to check, because when busy other fryers will be used, only usually a Friday night or Saturday night though. Chips are very decent quality portions are reasonable, to be fair it depends on you and how much of a pig you are but a large does me and I'm very piggy. Out of 10 times I've gone only once was soggy as mentioned by others I'm very happy with that outcome as previously I travelled to Fareham for my coeliac chips and often there's were bad 9 out of 10. The place has been refurbished a few months ago and it's now clean and simplistic. Lovely friendly people and a welcome addition to my weekly meals. Gluten free people spread the word they're re very good and it's extremely rare to find a chip shop to use a fryer for just chips.

I visited Wickham Fisheries on Thursday 1 August 2019 at 8.20pm, a weekday during the school holidays. I was with a large group; 27 children and 7 adults. This was my first visit. I used Google Maps to find the chip shop, which was easy and led me straight to the right place. I parked in the car park right outside, which had plenty of spaces available. As we were a large group we phoned the order ahead and arrived to pick up 20 minutes later. The ladies were incredibly friendly and helpful, everything was freshly cooked and the order absolutely spot on, which is challenging with 34 meals!

Lovely establishment. Very Covid compliant. You can either order by phone (lady actually rang me back as she had missed my call as she was busy serving) or order at the window.
