Lovely pub in the middle of the highstreet to have a drink at. The food can be good but there are times that it is not the best. The staff are lovely and service is ok. It can be busy on the weekends but overall the atmosphere is excellent here and very pleasant. Plus there is a gorgeous view when sitting out the front.

In the area doing family history, came to town centre, so popped in for a cool drink at another good Weatherspoon pub, good service from the young Barman, clean pub, nice outside seating area in the sun where you can people watch

A lovely little spoons in the middle of Fareham with a small seating area out the front. It feels much smaller and cozier once you get inside though. The staff were lovely and friendly, both with the customers and each other. The all day brunch was as fantastic as always and the Guinness was excellent

The better of the two spoons in Fare (IMO).
A former pub/inn judging by the interesting interior architecture.
I had a local ale (see photos) following the popularity of it from the regular customers.
Would like to return and appreciate the impressive frontage as well as the food.
Sociable staff, too

After reading reviews, you always worry, but everywhere has some bad reviews. On this occasion, we were pleasantly surprised. It was an impromptu dinner out with my wife and three kids and we decided to chose this Wetherspoons pub, rather than the other one in Fareham. It was fairly quiet inside, which is good, as there isn't a massive amount of seating. We ordered our food and the food came out really quickly and all the food was piping hot. I ordered the large mixed grill and all the meat was fantastic. You normally get at least one piece of meat that is poor standard, but it wasn't. The egg was cooked to perfection and the fries were amazing. Well done to the kitchen staff.
The only let down was the Ultimate Burger my son chose. It was not really too ultimate in all of our opinions, but it was ok and what you pay, including alcohol, was pretty good for a cheap dinner out. All in all, 5 meals and 4 desserts, with 5 alcoholic drinks and 2 soft drinks, came to around £80.

A nice pub to while away some time whilst waiting for the National Express to arrive. Warm and friendly and the usual Wetherspoons prices.

Only went in for a coffee on our way out but after looking at the prices and seeing what was served, we will definitely eat there next time, all coffees are 1.50 with free refils, cant beat that, and its good coffee, very popular place, and the spirits are served with mixers included! Excellent

The Crown always a great place to go and meet the family and their friends. Beer however is over a pound cheaper than the Dolphin and anchor in Chichester, why? Not everyone in Chichester is loaded with the Kings coin.

Smaller more compact than the usual Spoons. Seating and tables at the front in the pedestrian area, and the loos are on the ground floor. All in all a better than average spoons.

Nice small Spoons, more chilled than bigger establishments with plenty seating outside to watch the weld go by

Very busy when we arrived had one drink and left. Young people are getting drunk and very loud. It's not my thing anymore. However, it is very entertaining ....
