We had a lovely meal on our daughter's graduation day food good friendly staff highly recommend this place
Just had the Burns night meal and all I can say is excellent. Three courses for £9.99 and the best haggis I have ever tasted. Extremely friendly staff and would recommend this pub every time.
Went in for a bite on Friday. Lads behind bar were great, really friendly. Only had soft drinks so can't comment on beer or wines but food was amazing! Mixed grill was cooked to perfection, and was a very generous size, and my wife and daughter loved the scampi. The whole experience was relaxed and the locals were friendly and obviously knew they had a great little pub! We will be back.
Had the set Christmas meal last night for 4 people and all the food was amazing, massive portions too. Service was excellent as well, great value for money
Cracking food really friendly staff. We even stayed for the quiz night on Sunday. It's a proper pub.
Just had lunch here, food is awesome and the service even better. Can recommend the mixed grill, great value for £10
Really lovely pub , friendly staff and was very comfortable and relaxing.
Popped into the Castle In The Air today for lunch with my 2 grandsons as it looked very inviting from outside, I was made to feel very welcome from the start of my visit. I definitely would visit this pub again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others
Lovely Sunday dinner with all the trimmings, nice bar staff & customers especially a delightful young lady called Katie
Do love the place but can u replicate the greene king offer from the red lion in town?? £5 roast dinner????
Absolutely delicious!!! We tried the Sunday roasts (one turkey one sirloin beef) and they were both so so good. Meat was soft and tasty, as all the other ingredients.
Quality was great for very reasonable prices, staff was lovely and we got our food so quickly. We also got garlic bread which was very good and fresh. I highly suggest the place, loved everything about it and definitely will go back!! Such nice atmosphere.
Polite, friendly and helpful service.
Excellent value for money.
Varied and delicious cuisine!
We were out on a walk. A short walk along the England Coast path and Castle in the Air was a good culminating activity 😅 (We did about 10,000 steps that day)
Situated near the Fareham marina, Castle in the Air had a very homey feel and touch to the place. Not a lot of people when we visited but they got busy during that time too as it was the day after Christmas.
We had a pint of guinnes each and just to help with my mood, i tried their salt beef and cheddar toastie.
It was AMAZING! I had it with fries and it was perfectly seasoned with flaky sea salt. It was served with a side salad and its beautiful dressing. It was a sourdough toastie that gave a lovely crust and held its contents together -- not soggy at all. The cheddar was melting and thr richness was balanced with pickled red onions.
Perfect pair for my guinnes I believe.
Lovely staff, good portion sizes. I look forward to walkies. now I know castle in the air is my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. ❤️

Great pub. Beer Garden/Patio which is great. Atmosphere is lovely. Staff were warm and pleasant. My food arrived quickly and my drinks even quicker. (Maybe it was just when I happened to order, but pleasantly surprised.) Whilst I didn't have any of my own, it seemed very youngster friendly.
Great little pub to go to for a drink or a meal !! I came in here last week to have a meal with my sister in law. She has learning disabilities and the staff couldn't have handled it any better. The food was brilliant and quick to come out and the service was outstanding!
Thank you to your team :)
First time we've been here, can't fault it.
Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Staff friendly and very hospitable. Lovely pub, will definitely go back.
Love eating here. Always good food and staff are so attentive. Good prices and variety of meals too. And dog friendly.
Lovely local pub. Great food, and a lovely Guinness. Friendly, caring , helpful staff
I may only have been a couple of times but it is a old fashioned pub , which is a good thing to sit in its charming atmosphere ,not rowdy but very nice to be able to relax and enjoy your time in there ,sat just across from fareham creek ,so a decent place for a walk before going in ,food was great ,good size for the price ,bar staff very friendly ,did a lunchtime visit so not too busy
As someone who isn’t particularly a roast dinner girl, when I fancy one the first place I go to would be the castle in the air. It’s always busy and thriving on a Sunday and it’s nice that the staff will do their upmost to fit you in. Highly recommend. Thanks Castle team!
The best little pub in fareham and it’s not even close, welcoming, lively, live music, meat raffle you name it. Great staff, great food, a atmosphere like no other in fareham, will forever be my local.
