Sunday lunch for 6; the food was superb and I was delighted to find that the generous amount of vegetables (kale, broccoli, French beans and carrots) matched the meat, potatoes and superb Yorkshire Pudding. The service from bar staff and 2 young ladies looking after our table was fabulous. Only, and a small point, is that this very ‘dog-friendly pub’ needs more tables for customers with dogs, especially at weekend lunchtimes when loads of people will have been out walking on Stubbington beach. Overall: brilliant and, even though from London area, we will return.

We visited here today for a Sunday roast and just wow! By far the best roast we have had from a pub/restaurant! The Pork was so tender, the vegetables tasted full of flavour and you could tell they were so fresh! Great, quick, friendly service, this is by far our favourite pub at the moment whether it's for food or just a drink in this lovely weather. Cant wait to be back !

Great location with excellent views of the Solent and Osborne bay (duh). Their vegan and vegetarian options are excellent and the food generally great. Service was adequate for such a busy place. Good atmosphere and reasonably priced.

A group of 18 of us gathered together for a Christmas dinner for the local Parkinson group. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and polite. We all wanted to pay individually and the staff assisted admirably. The views of the IOW were great which all added to an excellent day.

Roast Beef and roast pork dinners were excellent! Huge portions so go with a good appetite. Enormous home made Yorkshire puddings too. Delicious. Everyone else’s meals in our party were equally tasty. Wonderful puddings too. The food arrived piping hot and the service was excellent even though it got busy. Good value for money too.

I visited Osborne VIew as it was recommended to me. Probably the best burger I have had in a long time. Very nice and I look forward to coming back when I next visit the area. Great views too, but it was starting to get dark so my picture doesn't do it justice! Thanks very much

Great pub in the seafront for a meal or for a drink with friends/family. I had the fish and chips wich it was a decent protion and the fish was okay wich i was expecting haddock or cod and i had something else wich i never had it before. chocolate brownie with salted caramel sauce as a dessert and it was on the specials menu. Our nan had the crayfish spaghetti with chives and she said it was delicious, she would come back if the chef put it in he's menu. The atmosphere is good, nice views if you book a table next to the window, good costumer service from the waitress. I would recomend this place and I will come back if I'm arround the area.

Amazing views, large pub/restaurant on multiple levels, very large beer garden leading to the beach. An amazing place a little pricey but for a cold drink on a hot day you can not beat the location & views 👌🏻

Whent to the Osbourn view for Sunday lunch only booked the day before so had to have a 315 booking, was quite busy when we arrived. We had a lovely table by the window with a sea view. The staff were very friendly and professional, the food arrived hot. We had the roast which was lovely lots of nice meat and plenty veg. Some one had the fish and chips which looked amazing very big lots of fish inside the crispy batter. Will definitely return.

Went for Boxing Day Lunch. Fantastic experience all in all. We had 3 menus to select from which was excellent considering it was Christmas time, all of the many options sounded incredible for starter, main and dessert. The wait for the main to arrive was around 45 minutes which is understandable given how busy it was. Fantastic, friendly staff. Would personally recommend the Lemon Pousset for dessert. The view of the water and across to the Isle of white from our table was also amazing.

Best pub lunch of any of the pubs we’ve tried whilst staying locally. Busy, popular place serving an excellent menu; we were a group of 5 on New Year’s Day. We sampled the Daily Roast (rare, generous, thick slices of pink beef); the fish & chips (large piece of cod with delicious batter & thrice cooked chips & salad); the pork belly salad; the pie & the double bacon cheeseburger. All excellent & eaten overlooking the beach & the view to the Isle of Wight. Well cooked, generous portions & tasty, washed down with pints of cider & Fursty Ferret amber ale. Great experience; efficient friendly staff. Dog friendly! Perfect after a bracing beach walk. Sadly we didn’t have room for desserts. We will return!

I would highly recommend everything here even breakfast and Main meals. Really nice place and pictures of ships inside and a model. Great venue for parties and properly excess space. The Food smells good and the Their Pie is great too.

Went for a roast. Had 3 different roasts, 1x nut roast, 1x pork, and 1x beef. To get it out of the way, the beef was sadly tough. It had clearly been cooked to medium rare, but possibly because of we had later lunch and it potentially had been jept warm, it was tough. Positives, everything was fresh cookedThe nut roast was a huge portion, and the pork came with crackling. The Yorkshire were amazing and definitely not from frozen. The other 2 lunches were tasty and delicious. Good presentation. Sides were red cabbage and peas with leeks. We had pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese as extra sides. The service was excellent and quick. Our waiter was personable and helpful and made sure to check if any of us had dietary restrictions. (Really sorry I can't remember your name or I would mention you here.) It was very busy and I can understand why. It was a good lunch. I should also mention it's also dog friendly, which I really liked. Would definitely recommend 👌

Not busy the night we went. Interesting and varied menu, great service. We all enjoyed our food. The Nourish Bowl was a different choice for me but was delicious. Husband dessert - hot choc pudding with caramel ice cream and hot chocolate sauce was outstanding 👌

Been on my list of places to check out for a while so decided to pop in today. Had their beef and ale pie which was very nice. Quite expensive place to visit so will be a treat every now and again but lovely to sit outside with sea views and enjoy a nice meal on a sunny day.

We held a family celebration for 10 in the Hall & Wodehouse room which was lovely with views across the Solent. We enjoyed attentive service and thoroughly enjoyed the food and drink. Thank you to Steve and staff from the Rose family. We look forward to returning.

Have come here for many years and the roast is always brilliant. It isn’t the cheapest around but it is definitely worth the price. Really good portions and a lovely atmosphere and view. We often come here with friends that aren’t from the area because it does a great job at showing off the setting and the history of the area.

Very good dog friendly cafe, it was a bank holiday but was very quiet and less stars to the service as there was very less staff and had to wait or find them to get something. Otherwise a good cafe with good food and polite staff , also has ample parking.

Friendly staff, got to sit outside, watched the sun set, view was amazing! Food was great, shame there wasn't a bigger choice of spices (not even salt and pepper). Had a great time though as the atmosphere was good.
