Popped in for a quick lunchtime snack and drink whilst shopping with a friend. Saw outside on menu Fish finger bap so thought why not? Was expecting a couple of limp fish fingers in a roll but what a surprise to see a brioche with two large beer battered fish fillets inside with tartare sauce and lettuce plus French fries on the side heading our way. Hot too! Friendly barmaid made a lovely g & t with generous couple of lemon slices too.
Lovely pub. Good beers and good menus. You won’t be disappointed by a pub right in the heart of Fareham
Fantastic place! We were in Fareham for the weekend and enjoyed the food and service so much, we went twice! Cannot fault the lovely staff (who catered for our large group on both occasions) - 10/10!
After all the makeovers from recent years I'm really glad to see this place doing well now. Plus super friendly and welcoming staff, without a doubt the pub I now choose first to go to 😁
I go here frequently with the dog after a walk, nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Much better than Whetherspoons, with a lot more character.
The staff are just fantastic, so welcoming and just lovely. They made my day today for my sons 18th birthday. Great food and service, just a beautiful relaxing place to spend time. Thank you for everything xxx

Good food, beers, management and staff - AND all the live sport! AND live music EVERY Friday and Saturday! What’s not to love?!

We love the Ironmaster. We go there every other weekend. Landlord is really friendly and an all round nice bloke. They worked hard to raise money for a defrib for outside and have met their target. It's cheap as chips. Has the sport on. What more could you ask for on a Saturday afternoon😀
Good sports bar that does try and cater for all sports upon request. Not always possible but they do try. Staff are nice and the drinks are very reasonable, no food ia on offer here 😀

Great place! Had a good time and drinks are cheap. Would recommend!

Nice evening watching the football. Large screens on every table. Drinks ate reasonable.
Met up with friends here to watch the Rugby. Good service and reasonably priced drinks.
Left by 7pm just before it got rowdy. Glasses had been replaced with plastic cups prior to us leaving.
We had a good afternoon here.
Nice pub good management food is nice my family love it. Good things they allowed dogs in the pub and my dog love to go there with us. Nice professional door staff to look after the venue.
Didn't eat here. Went for a pint, decent atmosphere music was a little loud
Went there for a night out with a mate and had a great night. Friendly staff, good drinks and great live music nights. Haven't eaten there yet which is why I only have 4⭐. Maybe next time all in all great pub 👍

As a town centre pub, in the daytime, this is a friendly, clean and very reasonable place to meet family early evening or weekend daytime.
Our dog literally drags me in here! He loves it inside, they are very dog friendly. Food has always been nice, drink prices are average. They have a good pub quiz on Tuesday evenings which is always busy. Staff have always been friendly and helpful, especially towards the dog 😂
