The Seagull staff are always friendly and cant do enough for you. Di and Sue are always upbeat and nothing is too much trouble. The food is served in good time, which is great if you have a bunch of hungry kids. We have a lot of birthday parties there because they can cater easily for large groups of people. The prices and daily deals are great for keeping costs down. Sunday Roast is pretty good too. Thanks team Seagull !!

Staff are always very friendly and welcoming, great service always. Great atmosphere it’s nice to go somewhere and feel comfortable. I don’t live as close now but I will still make a point of going as has always been my go to pub. Highly recommend.

I took a star off service because you have to order your food and drinks at the bar. But the staff are really friendly and polite. The atmosphere is a bit strange, it tries to be all things to all people so the place is divided into small spaces which then feel a bit cut off from the rest of it. The decor is dated and a bit shabby. However the food is excellent and really good value. I had a chicken in ciabatta sandwich was really good, a very generous portion and the chips were hot and crispy. We saw the puddings going to another table which also looked really good and massive. *Edit* I have been made aware that you can order the food from the table via an app. Therefore I have added a star. 😊

My wife and I came for a birthday to celebrate with our 15 year old granddaughter there was a mix up with some food but it was dealt with very quickly by Di and so no problem my food was very nice I had the pie and everyone in the group enjoyed theirs too ,it is an ideal place for a group to meet and the staff were happy to bring out the birthday cake too so all in all a good night

We came to the seagull this evening for a family birthday meal for our son. It was very last minute so we didn’t have a booking, it was busy but the landlord Alex opened up the function area to accommodate us. Our barmaid Mollie was very friendly and our waiter Alfie was very polite with a welcoming smile. Special shout out to Sue who added that little extra birthday touch. Highly recommend this place for any occasion

Lovely pub. Don't let the modest exterior fool you. This place is nice and comfortable inside. Ample parking, plenty of tables. Large amount of space and a big bar. The staff were lovely and the food and drink wasn't a total rip off. Which is unusual these days. Great place.

You have to visit the seagull Their all day breakfast are brilliant value for money and excellent quality food . We arrived 10am and it was quiet .. Service was prompt and welcoming. The venue is BIG .. so no problem for larger groups . It's near too the crematorium so they do offer wakes ..and will section off an area if necessary . We r members of a walking group and we can number 25+ .but that's not a problem for the seagull but out of courtesy I would recommend ringing them in advance ? There menu is varied and is a green king layout . The pub is clean tidy spacious ,toilets a plenty and a nice garden area with seating plus seating around the sides and front of the building in good weather ! They are dog friendly and disabled access is good with disabled toilet facilities
