First visit to the Dovecote will definitely go again. Great food & customer service, great value too. Lovely setting. Had a full English breakfast which was delicious. Would like to try their afternoon tea so think another visit may be in order. My new favourite place to eat.

Wow! had a wonderful afternoon tea here today. Great quality sandwiches and cake. Scones were outstanding. Attentive staff who looked after us very well and allowed us time to chat and enjoy our tea. Excellent value for money would highly recommend The Dovecote Eatery.

Lovely lovely place, very child friendly! A staff member brought out some chalks for my children to draw on the patio. Tucked away in a lovely little location and dog friendly! Lovely food too! We can't recommend you enough!

First visit today... lovely freindly staff and beautiful food... chips were amazing and Lola the dog was made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend and very reasonably priced food and drinks.

This is a hidden gem. You would need to be told about it or look it up because it's round the back and out of sight. Having said that the surroundings at Cams is truly rustic and rural. The building itself gives you a welcome feeling looking all basic with brick walls but beautifully prepared under the original beams. Now down to the reason for going there, 4 of us had a breakfast there this Sunday. 2 full English and 2 Dovecote breakfast which is more mansize. You get toast included and your hot drink is also included. The cost is more than competitive it's positively brilliant. The food however was totally home made, excellent quality and tasted gorgeous. I would strongly suggest going there but I may be ruining it for myself by helping to make it full. We'll done guys.

Delicious brunch menu! Really lovely setup and ambience. Either arrive really early or book for breakfast as it gets busy quickly! Would definitely visit again, and try more of the menu. Affordable prices too!

Been meaning to visit for ages as I’ve heard lots of good things and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were really nice and the food was lovely at such a reasonable price. The Veggie Muffin was filling and very yummy. The atmosphere and decor was good whether your upstairs, downstairs or outside. Lots of parking marked with a Dovecote sign. You can book or turn up on the day. We turned up just after opening on a Sunday and there were plenty of tables free. Will be definitely coming back!

As good as we've had many times before. High standards of food quality, portion sizes, staff friendliness and efficiency, and the price is right! Nice to go back, and looking forward to next time. 😀

Friendly staff and fabulous food at reasonable prices. Our favourite venue in the area. If you’ve not tried The Dovecote Eatery for yourself already we highly recommend it.

This was our first visit to The Dovecoat Eatery on a busy Thursday before Easter. The staff were super friendly and efficient and all the food was lovely. Very reasonably priced too. Well worth a visit and we will be going back again very soon.

Good quality tasty food, however the prices shown on the website need updating! Also servings aren't that big... they have "mini", "full" and their larger "Dovecot" breakfast however the Dovecot is what I would call a normal full breakfast, it's not big for £10.75.

1st time visitng and we were there for breakfeast. Prices seem fair and food arrived really quick. Food was really good and tasty, very rustic and great atmosphere. Will definitely return for the food. One small issue that we experienced on arrival, staff weren't really helpful. We stood at the door and they just walked past, no communication from them at all. Wasn't sure if we could just walk in and sit down. Other done that, all good.

Lovely and unique place to meet up for a coffee, breakfast or lunch. Dog friendly too in the marquee. However, staff looked miserable and weren't as helpful as one might expect. Sort of wrapped up in serving dishes or clearing away without the little thing that matter, such as where you could collect cutlery.

Great place, great location and great food. Cannot fault this, I was recommended to try this place by a friend and it did not disappoint. The service was nice and quick, everything tasted really good and the prices were just right. What more can you ask for? I’d recommend booking ahead.

Visited with my friend today and we both had a delicious breakfast. The young staff were really polite and and I was impressed with the ambience and the location. The hashbrowns were absolutely amazing and and they had a lovely selection of cakes too! I will definitely come back

Me and my family including little doggy came into Dovecote for lunch on Christmas eve. We didn't need to book. Been here before and love the ambience and relaxed feel. Food I'd always great and fresh. Special coffees and hot chocolate are to die for! I have a bacon, brie and cranberry on sourdough baguette and was very nice. The bread was delicious. My son had the loaded fries and was a perfect portion for him. My husband had the dovecote breakfast and throughly enjoyed it. We had a bit of a wait but didn't mind. We also had a cosy table right near the heater. Great that the place allows dogs. Staff really nice too. Would definitely come here again.

The dovecote is quite a nice little hidden gem although it feels if everything is slightly over priced, but there are a few hidden gems on the menu, like the breakfast wrap. The staff are friendly enough, sometimes it gets unruly busy so you take a while to be served or your food to come out. The staff need to be more attentive when you go for a quick can of pop and piece of cake to take away. Sometimes you get served and have to wait for hot food to come out before you get your goods. Overall I would recommend this place I have been going for years and will continue to go for the foreseeable future.

What a fantastic place to eat. Staff were great, the food was lovely. I had a dovecote breakfast which was presented very well, everything was cooked perfectly, one of the nicest breakfasts I've had. The cakes here are also absolutely fantastic. I had an oreo cake and it was delicious. This is definitely farehams version of the 10th hole. Definitely recommend a visit.

Friend and I popped in for lunch. Both of us had sandwiches on granary bread, tea and coffee. Excellent light lunch. Food freshly prepared. Only downside was the difficult parking - very busy, so we’ll try a different day and time for our next visit, but highly recommend the food and cheerful service!

What a hidden gem. Lovely cafe, lots of tables. Chose your take number then go request the food at the bar area. We had cooked breakfast, pulled pork baguette, fried egg sandwich and sausage sandwich. Coffee was delicious and smooth, milkshakes were delicious so my boys said. First visit but won't be our last. I love the fact they serve breakfast all day.

Tried this place for the first time this morning. We’ve often visited the Cams Mill but never strayed up into cams estate before. Along the creek and into the central business area signposted for the Dovecote. Plenty of parking and a few other people running and walking through the parkland and golf course. Lots of COVID signage and a menu next to the order window. Good breakfast menu and drinks options. We chose a breakfast wrap and sausage and egg muffin with hash brown plus two coffees, about £13. Wrap and muffin were great! We will definitely go again. If this has been useful, please like 👍🏻 😃

Went here for Sunday breakfast. I had a vegetarian breakfast and a mocha frappe. The quantity was filling and the food was seasoned well with herbs. I added cracked pepper before taking these pictures. The ambience was casual and welcoming. Value for money. Covid guidance is being followed. Table service but you order at the bar. Card payment only. Will visit again.
