We held an 80th Birthday Sunday lunch here in the function room for my mum. From start to finish the staff couldn't have been more helpful or courteous. Nothing was too much trouble and to use mum's words "everything was perfect." The food was delicious..despite catering for 37 people.. and everyone enjoyed the occasion and beautiful sunshine. � Thankyou so much for everything you did to make our day so special!
We attended my friends 60th Birthday meal on Friday evening, we had a party of 11 which included a vegetarian, a child. The food as always was amazing and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We all had a wonderful evening. Thank you so much.
Great skittles night had by all last night, including the two dogs :-)

Very busy for a local pub, went there for a family meal. Good menu and food was excellent, even though it was busy we didn't have to wait long for our order, good service. Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, will definitely go back again.
A very welcoming bar person. Cheerful, polite and efficient. The same attitude from the person that took our menu orders. She sought clarification from chef when we enquired about ingredients. A lovely hot and tasty fish pie. Very close to home cooking. New interior much more appealing. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

The Crofton is a great place to go for a drink and some delicious food. Mel and Brian, are passionate about cask ale and have a wide selection of beers on tap. They also offer a new, home cooked menu that features fresh, local ingredients.
I recently had the pleasure of trying the Crofton's menu and it was absolutely amazing. The dish was perfectly cooked and quick to arrive.
I would highly recommend The Crofton to anyone looking for a great place to go for a drink and some delicious food. Mel and Brian are wonderful hosts and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

Fantastic Sunday roast. Service was absolutely fantastic. Not bad price either.
Lots of parking, great menu but as we went on Sunday it was roasts all round. Cannot fault the Crofton Pub.
Really friendly and helpful staff.
Food is delicious and would definitely recommend the Mac and cheese!

Went for early lunch midday midweek. Excellent food, generous sized portions, friendly helpful staff and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit, will go again whenever I'm in that area.
Skittle game, good booze, friendly, attentive staff and a lovely function room (Skittles game lane included). Overall, can't complain ✅👍🏽

Pub grub, good menu, polite servers, and good prices were all welcome after driving home to Stubbington from Gatwick after a holiday.
Pub grub was well prepared, and service timely.
A shame that part of the site has been sold to build 2 new houses, which will reduce parking and the garden.
Great place to chill. Good atmosphere, dogs and friendly people allowed, food and even a guest cider.

Had an amazing lunch and friendly service. Totally COVID 19 safe but still feels as good as it always was! Only difference was seating outside. Was able to walk in without a booking.... even the dogs were happy to be back, especially after their sausage. Will be going back soon! 😎
We hired the function room, dog friendly, the room was made up very well before arrival, staff were very attentive and friendly, the food was very good, no complaints at all, could not have asked for a better evening. Will be sure to recommend and return soon.

Great independent pub/ restaurant with fantastic food and very attentive staff. We had a party of 8 plus a dog and were sat in a side room which was perfect. Highly recommended and we will be back.
