Went here for dinner on a Friday Night. Just because and it was delicious. My pork fillet perfectly moist, the venison perfectly rare. The restaurant is nicely spaced and offers a small menu of seasonal dishes to meet most dietary requirements. As ever a wonderful dinner we all loved. If you have not tried this restaurant please do it is lovely.

Everything about the service and food was impeccable. I took my partner for his birthday and we are both still talking about the great experience we had there and if we find ourselves in the area again we will 100% return. Thank you Truffles and the lovely and polite lady who served us. :)

Has to be one of the best kept secrets in Fareham. The food was well cooked and seasoned to perfection. Served on a hot plate - great value meal. Will visit again...

My husband found this, and it was amazing. The menu was enough, and they did a midweek special menu. We was made very welcome, service was amazing and food was outstanding. It reminds us of a restaurant in London, price was very good. We will definitely be back with my folks and we look forward to that. Well done to both of you.

Fantastic; amazing food, lovely vibe, fab service. I couldn’t fault anything here, the starters were possibly the best starters we have ever had anywhere, the mains were cooked to perfection too and the vegetables added taste and texture in all the right ways (my wife thought the veg was underdone, I disagree).

Exquisite flavours in Fareham's best restaurant. We came on a Saturday night celebrating our wedding anniversary. We ordered the rillete that came with a fantastic flavoursome chutney, and the quail on tabbouleh that was perfection. A wonderfully cooked sirloin steak and monkfish made up the mains. The dish quality and attention to detail belie the unassuming frontage. The whole vibe is relaxed. The waitress was attentive and very well informed, accommodating our requests and making gentle suggestions to improved our meal.

Organised a surprise birthday lunch and Truffles were very accommodating in arranging to reserve a large table as well as offering us a couple of child friendly meals too. We were not only the first to arrive at the restaurant but the last to leave and were made to feel welcome throughout the whole meal. We enjoyed three courses of some of the tastiest food I’ve had in a long time. The kitchen staff are extremely talented in their menus. The hosting staff were attentive without being intrusive and all of us would definitely recommend and return again. Loved it! #greatFood #fareham #eatOut

Gorgeous food. I had Navarin of Lamb and spring vegetables followed by flourless chocolate brownie, grand marnier ice cream and brandy snap. It's all freshly cooked to order and utterly delicious. Friendly service and lovely songs playing quietly in the background.

More than a meal. The service is great, the environment welcoming but the food, oh the food is wonderful. The flavours complement each other rather than overpower. The quantity is enough so you don't feel hungry and you have space for more and did I mention the flavour. The menu is limited but the choices you have are more than enough. If you want chips go to harvester. If you want to experience good food cooked well then Truffles is where you should go

Went here for meal 2nd September. The food was exceptional both in taste and presentation. A very talented chef. The service was fast and very good. There were 4 groups of people eating in there on this eve and we were all so impressed by the food that we went down to the kitchen and gave the chef a round of applause. So many eateries are huge franchise chains with slow service, loud music, too many people and not enough staff for an ok but the not exceptional meal. This was the opposite. Food was also carried to you using a clean cloth so your plate is not handled unnecessarily which is a minor but important thing that is sadly lacking in most eateries. Flawless all round.

Food, especially for the price was fabulous, along with the service. Also the best coffee I've had in a long time, let alone somewhere that isn't specifically a coffee shop. Will definitely visit again soon.

Wow, we had the chicken ballotine cassoulet and it is AMAZING, a must have while it is still available/on the menu. The tenderest, juicy chicken, wrapped in Parma Ham, and a cassoulet sauce TDF, which has bacon and Morteau Sausage. 10/10, brilliant, thank you so much, so clever.

Truffles is one of those secret little gems that we love. Every time we visit we have a fantastic time. Excellent food perfectly cooked and very good service. A regularly changing menu ensures that you will always find something new. Their theme nights are well worth attending if you can get there. I really can't say enough positive things about the quality of cuisine and the whole intimate atmosphere. Keep up the good work!

Excellent food and service. The combination of flavours is outstanding, fresh local produce and for the quality of the food probably under priced. The beef shin particularly was delicious. The portions are designed to enjoy 3 courses of great flavours. We had our 5 a day without a mound of overcooked veg. If you like a cut above the average you need to try this young local business which will only get better and better, they have concentrated on the food and service first.
