Had a wonderful set lunch here, salt cod balls were wonderful, the cod curry was amazing and the salted caramel cheesecake to die for, well worth every penny. We ate in Rick Steins in Padstow, Falmouth and Porthleven and couldn't fault any of the restaurants all offering different varied menus and all within wonderful surroundings. I would certainly recommend!

First off we were asked if we had booked! This is a Fish and chip restaurant! We were seated and the f and c were great but unfortunately the menu is being tampered with and now trying to be too clever., portion sizes have become much smaller although enough for me and the niceties have been removed ie little pots of tartare are now just a spoonful on the side. The children's menu is complicated, our little one just wanted fish bites and chips, we had to ask specifically for them. Please stick with the great fish and chips and make a seperate restaurant if people want a fine dining fish experience.

We ordered the set menu. Were a bit disappointed after the Thai fish cakes as we couldn't taste any spices. However the cod curry was Amazing!! Overall definitely value for money and I would recommend the curry to anyone.

Lovely set up on the harbour at Falmouth. Welcomed warmly. Decor and fit out perfect. Sat next to the pass. Staff lovely throughout. Had a sharing platter to start which was glorious. Steve had the curry, I had tuna and the lads had F&C. All was excellent. Best meal so far on our Cornish holiday

7 of us (including fussy children) had a fine meal, leaving empty plates. With decent gaps be courses we had a good evening out. The cod batter was exquisite, done to perfection.

Once again Stein’s restaurants never fail. Crispy light battered hake with chips and served with a smile and an explanation why Chalky’s beer has a lively head

True delicious food!! Lunch Set menu is good value for money. Dinner is a bit more expensive as it’s a la carte. I recommend the kalette side dish, which is a mix of Brussels sprouts and kale put together. They are absolutely delicious. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful with nice paintings on the wall.

We enjoyed club linguine, fish and chips. Taste really nice and good volume. And friendly staff. Next time I want to try dinner with wine. It will be nice.

What an excellent experience! The food from appetiser to dessert was absolutely delicious. We started off with some salted cod appetisers which were a tasty start to our meal. Fair sized for an appetiser. For starters we both chose crab linguine which had nice chunks of crab. For mains we mussels and also fish and chips. The sauce was very flavourful for the mussels while the fish was excellently cooked. Very well prepared batter. For dessert we shared a chocolate pavé which was sublime! Service was good as well. Overall excellent meal.

No complaints, lovely fish and chips during a Cornwall trip - very nice indeed, not overly greasy like some. Perhaps a little pricey - I noticed the customers who came in after me were a bit shocked by their subtotal and the mutter sheepishly took out her credit card to pay!

Tasty fish, the batter was light and crisp, well cooked chips but the mushy peas were a bit dry and the tartre sauce was average, decent portion size, drinks were pricey as expected but good service, desserts limited but the lemom posset was delicious- overall decent value during the Help To Eat Out incentive

Food and service were amazing! Came for a late lunch with my family and we were seated and served immediately with the food coming very fast. I ordered lobster and the waitress told me that because it was a small lobster, they were going to give me more which I felt was going the extra mile for good service. All of the table loved their food and when we went to pay my grandparents were going to buy a magnet which we were told to have on the house. The waiter then chatted and gave us some recommendations of places to go in Falmouth. Recommend anyone visiting Falmouth to come here, 10/10!

Indonesian curry, with various bits of fish and seafood with rice was excellent! Couldn't fault it, or the great service. Mussels were also very good and the kids helping of scampi and chips was quite large. Nice restaurant, slightly on the cool side, clean toilets. Left satisfied.

For the price we paid (£23) I expected it to be stunning. It was alright, nothing more. The cod was lovely and the chips were decent. The tartare sauce was quite nice too but nothing to suggest this was something more than a standard fish and chip shop. The extortionate pricing doesn’t make it easier to swallow either.

Fantastic fish restaurant on the coast. My haddock was perfectly cooked in light batter and the puddings were absolutely delicious. When the staff heard about our anniversary, we were treated to complementary drinks. What a great evening.

Initially booked but changed the booking on the day this was no trouble, on arrival seated straight away. We ordered the sharing platter as per the photo, then the Indonesian curry for me and my wife ordered the sea bass. Children got the past, the food was amazing, it was pricey which I fully anticipated and had no issues with that. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, kids wanted extra bread stick which staff provided, then my youngest wanted plain pasta rather then in sauce this was replaced again no trouble. It was fantastic dining experience and the restaurant was clean.

Absolutely delicious!!! The best mussels I've ever had, had a bowl to put the shells in, a finger bowl, spoon and the bread was delicious! Would definitely eat here again! Really good value for money. Nice and clean, toilets clean, staff lovely and even brought out a small knife and fork for little one.

Lovely place, went here with my family, all had starters, main courses and deserts, all of us thought it was great. Great bottle of white wine,to go with the fish. Good value considering quality of the produce. Really great staff. Falmouth.

The most amazing lobster I've ever had! When we went there was a lobster and chips offer for £30! What an absolute treat that was! The place is set in a lush location, the lobster was delicious, handmade chipa were lush. If you ask me, £30 for a whole dressed lobster is a bargain! Will definitely return
