This could be excellent, the food I had was absolutely class. Scallops followed by Cod. However, front of house needs polishing. Interaction was minimal. Regardless, it's worth a visit as we all have off days.
This is the restaurant that is part of merchants manor where they serve breakfast and dinner in the same area. Lovely setting; the breakfast is superb and the one meal we had was also good - we were originally booked for the taster menu which was cancelled on the day due to staff shortage - assuming this was covid related. The a la carte menu was nice though and we were able to try a dessert that was originally on the taster menu which was unreal (lemon pudding). Friendly staff.
Great hotel, lovely food fabulous service, highly recommended if you are in Falmouth. Staff are so pleasant and friendly. Great 3 days.

From walking through the front door to paying the bill, the service was excellent through out the evening.
We had the 7 course tasting menu and nearly every single dish was perfect!
Just slightly underwhelmed by the first of 2 deserts named rhubarb. However, the dishes; snacks, mackerel, and black pig were out of this world! The last desert called chocolate left us feeling completely satisfied and put a big smile on our faces.
I’d highly recommend this place if you love fine dinning.

Stupidly I had booked the wrong date but the maitre d' was unbelievably accommodating and found us a table, with only a small wait in the bar.
The tasting menu is amazing and paired with the wine flight is excellent value. The food is interesting without becoming overly experimental and the local focus is clear and highly appropriate.
The waiting staff were attentive and helpful without being suffocating.
Highly recommend overcoming the inertia around hotel dining, this is not a staid hotel restaurant but something far more interesting and welcoming.
Absolutely incredible food and wine at Rastella. We stayed in the hotel, and could not help but eat here every night. The menu is impeccably curated, and everything is of such high quality. The wine list is extensive and very good. The staff are friendly and attentive; Katie made our evenings at Rastella particularly memorable and enjoyable - thanks Katie.
Highly recommend, food and service was exceptional and it was such an enjoyable experience. We had the set menu with wine pairing which was great value for the quality of food and wine served.
