Lovely country pub in a great location with excellent friendly staff and sensibly priced food. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. The Locals Jamming on a Wednesday night made the evening. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Cannot fault it at all. We will be returning.
Absolutely everything was perfect. The service is friendly and very helpful.
Delicious food. We didn't want to leave at all. In addition, a wonderful garden, with hidden treasures that testify to the longevity of this corner of the world and you have the impression that time slows down in it..
I did not stay but was staying close by. Visited 3 times for a meal. Staff very friendly. Food was very good and with a good choice. Wide choice of wines and some local ale's. My only concern was that the cost of a glass of wine was not made clear. Dog friendly
On the way home from the seal sanctuary can across this gem. Lovely sunny outside beer garden / area. We only stayed for a quick pint but the food looked and smelt amazing. We will be going back.

Revisited this pub after 4 years for 2 meals midweek and they were very lovely indeed! Great varied choices on the menu (unlike many places offering the same things) and cooked to perfection. Also reasonably priced and felt welcomed and looked after. Will definitely come back when in the area again
A lovely pub in a quiet, secluded spot. The food was really good and not too expensive. Good range of beers and cider. Had a relaxing evening with friends and colleagues sitting outside surrounded by the peaceful woodland and fields, a really lovely pub.
What a hidden cornish gem, truly was the best food we had on holiday and good value fresh produce. Service was friendly and inviting and they couldn't do enough to keep us content. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience in a beautiful olde worlde pub setting
This is only our second visit in recent years, but the food was superb. We left feeling that we must come again and soon.
We have now started to visit regularly and can't stop ordering the holoumi burger each time as it's so good. Perfect every time.
