We live a good twenty minutes out of town but always have our fish and chips from Harbour Lights. Even through rush hour traffic when we get the them back home they are still piping hot! We also eat in the restaurant and the staff just can't do enough for you - even checking back to ensure everyones happy with their meal. Sometimes when orderiing a large fish you might get two / three smaller ones but that's ok and not a pronlem - at least they make up the deficit plus you get more lovely crispy batter this way. If things aren't quite right at the time sort it out at the time and give the staff a chance to rectify problem. Don't immediately give poor feedback - speak to the manager before telling the world.

Spending a few days down in Cornwall; off the bat of previous visits made a point of eating at Harbour Lights. Did. Not. Disappoint. The fish tasted incredibly fresh, the chips delicately fried. Portion sizes were very generous. Perhaps my only, very slight, criticism would be presentation. The main plates were immaculate, so a sloppy curry sauce pot and messily heaped onion rings in an ill-fitting bowl ended up a bit of an anti-climax. Megan, our waitress, was fantastic. Chatty and attentive - wasn’t afraid to make recommendations either. Our payment was taken by another colleague so we didn’t get to pass on our thanks; if you could do so it would be appreciated. I will be back, as soon as I’m back in this lovely part of the world!

Excellent customer service, fantastic food. Even my dog was looked after, she was given a bowl of water and biscuits, I'm so impressed with how good the customer service is and how friendly and thoughtful all the staff were yesterday, I came in with a group of 15 people and 3 dogs, we were all seated quickly and the fish and chips were amazing, everyone enjoyed them. We will be back 👍

Whenever we come to Falmouth, we always go here. The best fish and chips, very good price and they serve battered Creme Eggs at Easter! When they ran out, they even battered one we had bought for free!

Just been down to Harbour Lights; lunch after the Sea Sunday event. Excellent service, good food and views-to-die-for views across the harbour. Also used my Mussel Card to get a very welcome 10% discount, although that discount is so new that nobody had told the staff, but to do them credit they believed me when I said I had seen it on the Falriver website. 5 stars.

The service is great, friendly and efficient. We had small F&C and it was enough for a lunch. Delicious. Very clean. No wonder it won F&C shop of the ear in 2017.

Fresh fish, lovely batter and real chips, what more could you ask for from a fish and chip shop. Excellent service too. We go here every year when on our holidays.

Absolutely scrumptious fish and chips! My final evening in Falmouth and enjoyed a medium sized cod in batter and most of a box of chips! Finished all the chips!

If you like the traditional English fish and chips, this is the place for you! We sat in the dining area and enjoyed the view and atmosphere while eating our beige food (just kidding but not just kidding). The fish and chips were nice and my partner said it was the best she has ever had (she is British so would know better than I). Certainly recommend if this is your type of food and you want to enjoy the local cuisine. There was a queue when we went so prepare yourself for a potential wait.

Also a sit down fish and chip restaurant. Amazing views and good fish. Fish prices not cheap in the restaurant but reasonable for a seaside or southern venue so worth it especially as it was very good...pretty faultless in fact . Nice to be able to have with chips , salad or 50:50.

Lovely fish, clean white flesh and very tasty but mediocre chips and the minted mushy peas were very dry. The slice of bread I was given was a bit on the dry side too, probably left out too long. The tea was ok as was the service i.e. just ok. I have to be honest and say I've had better though it wasn't awful.

Amazing great Quility fish the cod was white and flakey goodness, nice light batter. Proper chip shop chips. And a fantastic view whilst eating in the restaurant area. We'll worth the money.

The best locally sourced fish and chips and calamari I have had in a long time. Calamari was really cooked to perfection.

great place. possibly the best fish and chips I have ever had. batter so light and crunchy and the fish is melt in the mouth consistency. chunky fries. crowd outside the take away counters is a sign of its popularity. tip: go outside the regular dinner hours between 6 - 7 pm to beat the busy family traffic for the dining area. pet friendly.

Not a lover of fish and chips but it was the chosen choice of the lunch party. However I was delighted to find a suitable alternative to the main point of the restaurant. Food portions were a good size. Service was very quick and friendly. If I have to go to a fish and chip bar again, I wouldn’t hesitate with this one!

Incredible as always! The best fish and chips in Falmouth - I wouldn’t bother going anywhere else! We got the cod bites, chips and mushy peas to take away and they didn’t disappoint! Delicious!!
