Great vibes, great food, great beer and great staff. What isn't there to like about it!
The crab loaded chips are incredible. The chips alone are fantastic, but add good crab and bursts of piquancy from fried capers and they are elevated to a sublime level. Everything we chose from the small plates menu was good. The fish pie special was a master class in comfort food and perfectly sized for 2 to share.
Great little bar and restaurant. Loads of delicious Verdant beers and the food overall is really great.
Service is always friendly and helpful.
I like to come back here every time I come to Falmouth be it for a beer and a small snack or some beers and dinner!
Don’t arrive after 21:30 of you’re looking for food. Even if their website says they serve food until 22:00, they cut orders at 21:30. So we just stayed for beers (Verdant is one of the best UK breweries, famous for their hop-forward hazy beers) on our first visit.
Got back the next day to try the food. It’s a small plate menu, which my wife and I really enjoy. 3 dishes per person suggested. Go for the daily specials. The only disappointment was the salad, which had a few leaves, some radishes, and a vinaigrette, which was tasty but not what you’d expect in a restaurant, in my opinion. The tortilla used for the tacos could be better, but that’s just a Mexican’s burden, so do try the fish tacos.
Great little seafood venue paired with quality Verdant craft beers. Tapas size dishes with tasty, fresh seafood. With friendly, informative service added this place is a must visit and make sure you try the oysters.
Their brewing is the best I’ve ever had in the UK. Extremely fresh and full flavour.
The small dish is literally small but worthy to try because all of them are fresh and special.

We came here twice, the first time they weren't serving food as we had come between sittings, so just had a quick drink. Food is 12-15:00 and then 17:00 onwards.
The bar is much smaller than I thought it was going to be (about 20 seats), so when it became busy it was very easy to over hear other people's conversations, and you could be seated quite close together, so don't go for an intimate chat if you don't want the restaurant to know.
The food was good but is all small plates. If you're going for a main meal be prepared to buy about 2/3 plates per person. The beer is great as you'd expect from verdant and has their beers on tap and the service was friendly and welcoming.
Great atmosfere in this tiny & lovely seafood bar. We enjoyed some fish tacos, scallops with mango and crab loaded chips but the reason why we came here was Beer! Verdant is an istitution, one of the best beer ever had. Super friendly staff.
Lovely little place - well worth visiting for drink and a nibble. As expected a great selection of beers to choose from. The food though is outstanding - super fresh fish tacos and the crab fries were a big hit.
Lovely little seafood tapas bar in Falmouth. Really nice fresh local seafood small plates, accompanied by a great selection of verdant beers. If you like really good seafood and fabulous craft IPA this is the place. Superb.
Food here was really nice. Came here for lunch and they did a small plates offering. Great for sharing with friends as you get to try a bit of everything!! We ordered the fish tacos, scallops, and crispy monkfish (although forget to get a pic of this because I was so hungry!!). Highly recommend this little spot. The craft beers were also delicious- recommend Random Rules
