Lovely tasty food, great portion sizes, service and drinks were fab too! Would highly recommend! We had the bucket of treats, jerk chicken, salt fish and rice and pea plus rum punch to wash it down
Great menu, great food, great staff. Our party tried the salt fish, jerk chicken and the lamb curry, must say if there had been patterns on the plates they would have gone. Ab Fab, highly recommended.
Best restaurant in Falmouth! We had a birthday lunch here today and couldn't have asked for better food, drinks and service as well as a fantastic atmosphere. Cribbs never fails to be awesome! I especially recommend the vegetarian options and the plantain!
We have eaten here on a number of occasions and the food has been excellent. There are also gluten free options available. Excellent service.
Booked a table for 4 of us, we had some amazing food and even better rum cocktails 🍹 staff were lovely and friendly too! Will definitely be booking again next time we are in Falmouth! Thank you.
First time here and we were not disappointed. Food and service were both excellent we had the last table, it was very busy probably best to book. We will definitely return
We visited Cribbs Caribbean Restaurant yesterday after spotting there ‘2 cocktails for £8’ deal in the window.
We were greeted by a lovely lady who was very helpful and made us delicious cocktails with fresh fruit🍹.
We will definitely be returning to try some more cocktails in the future ☺️
we were in falmouth looking at uni with daughter and we wanted somewhere with a different cuisine as it was my husbands birthday. food was brill and the flavours mmm. they had lamb curry and i had the monkfish dish. also the rum and raisen and passion fruit cheesecake were lovely and so light. deff reccommend Cribbs for anyone in Falmouth.
Had a lovely meal in here tonight, food was very tasty, drinks were lovely .
The young lady that dealt with us was very friendly.
Highly recommended & will be back soon !!!
Thank you xx
Lamb curry was hot and sooo tender. Pork belly OMG was just lush and saltfish n ackee was just gorgeous. Staff attentive despite being very busy. Cocktails were just amazing. The general vibe in the restaurant was positive, lively but not intrusive. Highly recommend
Absolutely loved it, such a great selection for vegans which I always appreciate staff were great, could've had another starter for dessert happily. Will be back for sure
Faultless! Steak is incredible, chicken incredible, staff faultless! One of the best meals our family have enjoyed!
Even looked after son (age3) amazingly
Will be back 5*

We had a really lovely meal on Tuesday evening. The lamb curry was just amazing, and dark and stormy is my new favourite drink! Thank you
Really nice atmosphere on a quiet, rainy Sunday evening. The food was extremely good: decent portion sizes and nice presentation, as well as being very tasty. The lamb curry was particularly good, as was the plantain that came with it. There was also a nice selection of Caribbean beers. The service was spot on, even though we were there a little after closing time. I'd strongly recommend giving this a go
Meal with memorable flavours packing a punch. Has a kick to it as you would expect from a Caribbean place. Reasonable portion sizes, especially the seafood soup.
Pros:
- good starters options with reasonable prices allowing you to get a couple started and a main to share
- flavourful food
- good portion sizes
- good music
Cons:
- too far away for me to go more regularly
- not facing the water / too sunny. But you come here for the food, don’t discount as it’s definitely worth a try
I had never had Caribbean food before visiting here so wasn’t too sure what to expect as I can be fussy with new foods- too my surprise, the food was absolutely amazing and I fell in love with it! The server we had was so helpful and informative about the drinks and the food (I wish I caught her name) and was so patient with my 101 questions. We both went for the jerk chicken which was delicious and I am still thinking about now, I’m gutted we don’t live in Falmouth as this place would be my new favourite! If we come back to Cornwall then we will be back here!
Came here with my husband to celebrate my birthday.
The food was utterly sublime, which is something I don't get to say often due to being vegetarian, however the colours, the flavours and the presentation was incredible, the choice for vegetarian/vegan meals was fabulous (not a large choice however you can see a lot of thought has gone into this menu to ensure there is something for every taste within this section)
My only very minor niggle was the front of house staff (although every member was lovely and very happy to help) seemed a little disorganized, however it was busy (potentially unusually so for a Tuesday before summer holidays) and it felt they may of been short staffed. Even though I mention this it did not ruin my celebrations and a wonderful evening was had. Can highly recommend but book first to garrentee a table.
We had starter main and dessert each.
Food was delicious and decent portion sizes, the waitress was incredibly friendly and they were really accommodating for my partners allergy. The cocktails were really well made and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere.
Caribbean @ its finest in Cornwall
From the moment ypu entre to dine in this restaurant was simply the best in Falmouth.
Main Course
Caribbean lamb, marinated in Caribbean herbs, Spices served on rice and fried plantain. Very delicious almost ordered another plate.
Bucket of treats
Pork belly, crispy chicken, coxonut prawns, Squid, Served on Reggae Reggae dipping source
Monk fish & Scallops
Monk fish wrapped on parma harm, permesan, with fresh scallop.
Some drinks to wash the meal down the throat.
Old fashioned
Stopped in for some Caribbean food while we were in Falmouth. Must say, the goat curry was some of the best we’ve had and the place was really nice. Kid friendly too which is good. We’ll definitely be going back.
EDIT: We returned two days later and had more excellent food. Definitely on our list of places to eat when we return to Cornwall.
Just visited Cribbs Cornwall, the food was great, and enjoyed the reggae tunes too. A little spicy for my taste but tons of flavour and interesting dishes. The jerked tofu was really tasty. Mocktail quite small for the price, but it was good.
Just under £18 for a main. Would have been 5 stars if a little cheaper. But definitely a nice spot for a special occasion.
This is our first time here and was recommended to a few restaurants but I thought to give this place a try!
And I would highly recommend the flavours are so wholesome and the food was delicious!
We ordered the lamb curry and pork belly jerk and a side of calamari
One thing I’d say tho the portion is really small! To justify £18-20 for just meat and rice is a little unfair!
But overall the food did not disappoint! The rice had flavours the curry had flavours the jerk pork was soft and the crunchy on the skin gave it ultimate taste from the grill.
Highly recommend
Another world class meal - three courses of sheer heaven.
The doubles to start were incredible. I’ve been dreaming of the jerk chicken since last year on holiday, and it didn’t disappoint. Neither did my husband’s curry, and both my boys ate every mouthful of their fab meatballs & fried chicken from the kids menu - and then devoured a huge piece of jerk chicken between them too. The sticky rum and banana cake with coconut ice cream, cheesecake and ice creams were all sensational too. Out of this world!!
We came to Cribbs with high expectations after a knock out meal last year in holiday, and I’ve got to say it was even better than we remembered it. And that’s saying something, because we’ve all been desperate to come back again.
Thank you dear Cribbs. My favourite meal of my life, ever! You are simply the best and we deeply appreciate you
To potential visitors - go to this place for the best meal of your life ! Xxxx
