This is a restaurant not to miss in Falmouth... great staff, friendly, welcoming, helpful with the menu, quick to serve. The food is well presented and consistently very good! Each dish has a distinctive flavour and the price is as attractive as the meal itself! Highly recommended. Well done everyone at PloyThai.

A meal at the Ploi Thai is an absolute "must do" every time we visit Falmouth. Friendly staff, extensive menu, pleasant surroundings, brilliant food and reasonable prices. What more can you want?

One of my favourite thai restaurant ever! The food cooked with freshly made and high quality ingredients so every dish came out beautifully with authentic thai taste. They carefully served the dishes at the right temperature. The waitress is very nice and friendly. The restaurant are well-decorated. I really enjoy my meal there and surely will visit again. If you haven't been there yet, you are so miss out! Can't wait for my next meal there.
Authentic Thai food! It is one of the best restaurant that I've ever been to since I came to England. The food was delicious and fresh. Service was superb. Highly recommend to those who love authentic Thai food!
Menu looked old and basic was a little apprehensive. However food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff friendly and helpful will be going again.

Authentic Thai cuisine
Our Thai restaurant is perfectly located 60 m from the marina for a lovely, scenic setting.
The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, and our food is all freshly prepared and authentically Thai.
The restaurant is a big one, with space for 32 seated downstairs where everything is Thai-themed, including the decor and furniture.
Upstairs we have a more cosmopolitan styled interior, where large groups and parties can enjoy our wonderful food
late into the evening.
There's also a private smoking area out the back, so you won't have to brave the cold in chilly winter evenings.
Can not recommended this restaurant high enough! Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. Only thing that has changed is the name..♡♡♡ love it!!!

We ate dinner there last night, I tried the Pad Thai, Red Curry, Green Curry, and lots more, everything I tried was delicious and well presented! And Ploy was an amazing host! We are coming back soon for more :)))

Excellent authentic Thai food!!
First and foremost, the friendly service as every other reviewers have commented is spot on. Attentive and polite. An eatery is nothing just for the great service, we can say the food is excellent and highly recommend any dishes served with the fresh meaty prawns.
I had the Tom Yum soup, full of flavour and excellent herbs and spices. The prawns and squid are very fresh. You can tell by the firmness of the big prawns and the nice crunch to the sweet squid.
The mix starters are excellent choices if you want to try a bit of everything, and they are off good portion size as well.
Our eyes must have been bigger than our stomachs, no matter how tasty the food was, we couldn't finish everything (we did order a lot!! 😁😁), And ended up taking some home. We've been eating out a lot, the prices here are good value considering the amount and the quality they served.
This is a definite must go to place if you're into excellent, tasty and authentic Thai food. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Falmouth.

Amazing friendly service, greeted and seated promptly even though we didn’t have a booking.
Good prawn crackers and decent veggie platter to start. My massaman curry was delicious! My partner had the prawn and squid pad Thai which was very enjoyable.
Dessert list was not appealing but we were too full anyway 👍

Lovely little gem on the Falmouth waterfront. Service is fast and friendly, and the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome on a rainy evening. Portions are plentiful, dishes are spicy and flavourful, and the price is very reasonable for the amount of food served.
Food was amazing, absolutely gorgeous table setting all hand made, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff
Had the most delicious meal here yesterday evening! The food was fresh with amazing flavours. The service is next level with friendly and helpful staff who will give plenty of recommendations of what to eat. The restaurant itself is also beautifully decorated with the most amazing tables!
A must if you love Thai food and your visiting Falmouth!
I once once ate there and had recently ordered a meal delivery to my house so here are my remarks. The food was absolutely fantastic, a bit spicy but amazing, can't complain about the taste. You can notify them if want your food to be less spicy. The below photos show a recent delivery I ordered. I was a bit disappointed as the food portions were a bit small. I ordered two dishes; rice and vegetables with tofu. When I received my delivery, I thought one food container was missing. I later realised that the containers were small. It'd be amazing if they could put the food in bigger containers. It was an unpleasant surprise to receive a noticeably small portion of steamed rice.
This place is extraordinarily good. Absurd that it doesn't have an even higher rating. Ordered a red curry with tofu dish, a Thai salad with prawns, and Pat Bai Grapow, a vegan stir fry with mixed veggies and tofu, with flavourful basil. Did all that with a bottle of Te Papa (a fabulous kiwi sauvignon).
Every dish was a winner. In particular, the Pat Bai Grapow had a savoury sauce so delicious that my wife had to stop me from drinking from the dish.
On top of that, the decorations are really quite something special. Surreal, even. Hand carved chairs, each one individual, fill the restaurant. We were even given hand-carved MENUS, if you can believe it.

Service and food were great, the place could do with a refurb though. Very dark, scuffed and dated. And the pictures were ancient. But the food and service were faultless
