Excellent, from the food, waiting staff, drinks and the stunning views!! Fantastic choice on the menu too. Advice-book to avoid disappointment in the summer time.
Really delicious high end restaurant that is dog friendly. The menu choice was so good. It was so hard to decide as it all looked delicious. The food did not disappoint. I think the muscles were the nicest I have tasted. It was great to be able to bring our dog with us while we were on holiday to a restaurant as nice as this. What's not to love?!?
Very nice last minute late lunch over August Bank Holiday weekend. We ended up going for a blend of the 3 course deal from the specials and main menu. It is in our opinion the best food in the Falmouth area below £70 a head.
Really a very enjoyable evening great food, attentive staff great menu any 3 courses £55 very reasonable. My wife had garlic crevettes l had tempura prawns both excellent. For mains we had hake fillet on mushroom and brown prawn risotto, and breast of Guinea fowl with black pudding Bon Bon and a red wine jus. For dessert we had chocolate parfait and a chocolate cup all courses were very good. We had a bottle of Micheal Caines own label Rose Champagne really excellent not dissimilar to Laurent Perrier Rose. All in all a very enjoyable evening.
Wow wow wow.... We had to do it while on holiday and try the signature taster menu... Best food experience I've ever had... I won't ruin the surprise for anyone by saying what we had but my goodness it was superb and the fresh oysters best we've I've tasted in a long while... Location is stunning... Atmosphere chilled and classic...we sat outside looking over the coastal beach views... Of course I've gone and brought Micheal Caines recipe book now to test my kitchen skills but don't think I'll come anywhere close to this Michelin star chef!!! If your looking for a special treat... This is THE PLACE!!!

We visited for my wife’s 50th birthday. I hoped that going to a restaurant owned by a famous chef might be a nice gift.Well we were both blown away by the food, staff and venue.Absolutely incredible and most importantly a very happily Wife. Thank you.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Waiters were also excellent and provided a friendly and efficient service.
We hadn't been to the cove for a while the last time we went we wasn't happy with it..this time (new owners I think) it was a lot better they were very caring noticing I was cold they offered me a blanket and putting the radiator closer to me.
They explained in detail about the food we both had the crab cakes to start then the Lamb the food was excellent every mouthful couldn't fault it at all. To the Front of house staff to the chefs all well done!! We will definitely go again & recommend them. 👌

Wonderful dinner from the Special Menu this evening. We've not been since 2020 due to the pandemic but even better than before. Quiet ambiance although every table was taken, unobtrusive yet attentive service. Just a relaxed quality restaurant with wonderful food and a great Cornish view!
Food was absolutely perfect - a great varied menu and excellent tastes.
Service needs attention. If the maitre d’ is going to come out to greet and chat with some tables then don’t ignore others and simply walk past them without any acknowledgement. If staff are going to give fast attentive service to their favourite customers then how does that make new customers feel if they don’t belong to that same clique?
I would def revisit but hope that service levels can become equal to all.
We were a bit apprehensive about booking this for our parents golden wedding anniversary due to some of the reviews we had read about group bookings (plus my mum can be quite a perfectionist) but we couldn't have asked for more from manager James and his team. The service was exemplary, the food was excellent and the location was perfect. We were a large booking of 20 and there was nothing we could fault from start to end. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening for my parents and their guests to remember.
Update: The menu got interesting tried this place with the new Owners. The setting is lovely, the staff where friendly and the presentation was fantastic. I found the service a little slow considering it wasn’t very busy but if your a chatty group who like to spend your time it might not bother you. The Sea Bream Ceviche could of been a little lighter (it tasted too much of olive oil imho). Highly recommend the roasted cod,brought me back memories of eating in Nobu. And all of the desserts are perfect! Looking at the photos I could eat that again lol!

Had a wonderfully tasty, and excellently priced (£26.50), 3 course prix fixe lunch at this lovely venue overlooking … you guessed it … the cove!
The prix fixe menu included a choice for vegetarians, and they also have a limited kid’s section. In both cases, the kitchen was very accommodating, firstly by turning a regular starter into a kid’s meal, and then making a change to the vegetarian main course. Such flexibility was greatly appreciated.
Besides being delicious, the food also looked amazing. My wife almost didn’t want to eat the very pretty beetroot starter.
Service started out really well, but as the restaurant filled up, things slowed down a little.
Eating at this restaurant was on my ‘to do’ list, and now after having visited, it’s on my ‘do again’ list.
Lots of parking outside, stunning view, great service and fantastic food. The Cove is a must for anyone who loves their food.
The Cove is a truly an amazing restaurant and a hidden gem on the south Cornwall coast. I came here for my graduation meal and the standard of service was exemplary.
The food is very well presented and all the dishes were cooked to perfection. There was 6 of us eating and we all had different dishes. You could tell that a vast amount of care and attention to detail had gone into each dish and we did not have to wait any longer than expected.
I had a vegan tofu dish and it was honestly the best tofu I have ever tasted in my life. I would reccomend this restaurant for any vegans.
The selection of beers and wines is very good and they had something for everyone.
I would highly reccomend this restaurant for any event. Try and get a window table if possible because the view over the beach is outstanding.

We attended for dinner after managing to bag a cancellation table due to the restaurant being fully booked. A warm welcome on arrival and excellent service throughout. We dined from the main menu however next time will definitely try the tasting menu. I had the lamb which was exceptional- packed with flavours and cooked perfectly. My girlfriend went for the duck which again was perfect - great flavours and accompanied by a side of seasonal veg and potato purèe. We shared the dark chocolate mousse which was divine - the candied orange peel and the chantilly cream were a decadent addition. Only managed one picture each of the food as was too good!!
