I was told about this little gem from a mate 2yrs ago and finally got to eat here I treated my cousin's two to lunch the food was outstanding from the starters to desert and the staff are very very pleasant and very helpful as are the hosts the food is of a very high standard and we was made to feel very welcome and seated outside looking over the pond it was a beautifull setting. I had the soup for starters which was to die for the flavours just opened my taste buds up my main dish was the sea food platter which I highly recommend the afternoon was very enjoyable relaxing I'll be recommending this gem and talking about the waymarker for a long time the next time I'm visit Cornwall I'll be sure to book a table for lunch

We went here for our Anniversary lunch. A wonderful friendly greeting and shown to our table. There is a great selection of choices on the menu. We started our meal with beautiful home made soup. I then had the Haggis which was amazing and my wife had the lamb. Presented well and delicious. Everyone was friendly and great service. A lovely place for a meal, snack, cream teas or a tea and cake. Lovely setting with ample parking. A little gem well worth a visit. We shall definitely return.

We've just had Sunday roast and I think it's the best roast I've eaten out. Very generous portions and the Yorkshire pudding (homemade) was the best. We couldn't manage pudding so they've let us bring it home. Cheesecake awaits later - looking lovely. The staff were extremely attentive and lovely. What a great find and on our doorstep too. Will definitely be returning. Thank you.

We came on Saturday 29th April as a group of 28 members of the Falmouth Watersports Sailing Club , to celebrate the start of the Summer sailing and boating season with our annual "Lift in Supper". Some of the group had been here before for Sunday lunch or a cream tea, but no-one had been here for dinner, so it was a new experience for us all! Prior to our evening, Rhiannon had been very helpful and accommodating with our booking. She coped with changing numbers ( down - up , down -up) and the fact that trying to get 28 people to give their menu choices by a set date is like herding cats ! She dealt with all our requests and changes with patience and humour ! Because there were so many of us, she closed to restaurant to other people for the evening, which is great for us - we do tend to be a noisy group! The welcome when we arrived was warm and friendly, the tables were set out so that we could all talk to each other and the whole room looked beautiful, fresh flowers on the table added to the whole ambience. The 2 waitresses were friendly and kind , as well as efficient. Everyone's order arrived perfectly and the food was fabulous ! Plenty of wine choices to satisfy our very discerning members too! All in all, a brilliant venue. We will definitely be back, both as individuals and as a club. Thank you to Rhiannon and team - first class food and a first class evening !

My family and i came to The Waymarker for a 30th birthday party. We took decorations down in the morning and the staff were really helpful by hanging them off the beam above our table. It looked great and was a nice surprise for the birthday girl. It was a sunday so roast was of course our choice! I had the lamb which was cooked to perfection. The mustard coated beef was a favourite with other members of the family. One person had the chicken which looked very nice. That person commented that it was very moist and tasty. Our puddings..... Well...... Too good for words! Sticky toffee pud, cherry eton mess and creme brulee were all incredible! Dont think i could drive past here now without popping in. The daily menu and afternoon teas look tempting!

Delicious beautifully presented food. Good sized portions. Lovely homely atmosphere. Staff friendly & really helpful, nothing too much trouble. We went on Sunday & had lovely Roast, which came with a bowl of lots of different vegetables, beautifully cooked. Other meals available on menu too. They also do various Tea & Cake, scones & cream, with sandwiches 4 a fun family Tea or a special occasion with a friend. Definitely recommend!

We recently visited for the first time and had the afternoon tea with gluten free scones and I can honestly say it was the most amazing experience, the scones are literally to die for. We've been back today to try out the roast, I had the most gorgeous veggie option and my partner had the beef which he said was the best roast beef he's ever had! This place is an absolute gem and I've got a feeling we're going to become very happy regulars. I have friends coming to visit soon and this will be the first place for food I'll be introducing them to! Well done to a wonderful team, so friendly and welcoming.

Really excellent food, I've eaten here at lunchtime and several times for a cream tea. On a nice day there are tables outside looking out over the trees and pond. Some of the best scones I've had, do try the more unusual flavors, they're almost too nice to want jam and cream with! Really friendly staff, happy to chat if it's not busy.

Found this little gem by accident a couple of years ago when we popped in for a lot of tea and a mince pie one afternoon I'd December. Have since visited several times for special occasions and Sunday lunch and have never been disappointed. Quality food served to a high standard 😀
