My family and i came to The Waymarker for a 30th birthday party. We took decorations down in the morning and the staff were really helpful by hanging them off the beam above our table. It looked great and was a nice surprise for the birthday girl. It was a sunday so roast was of course our choice! I
Lovely food. Service too slow but once they were aware we had been waiting too long staff very apologetic and our drinks were given free of charge. Would return.
Such delicious scones! Had a traditional cream tea here and it was delicious! Hosts are lovely and very welcoming.

Really excellent food, I've eaten here at lunchtime and several times for a cream tea. On a nice day there are tables outside looking out over the trees and pond. Found this little gem by accident a couple of years ago when we popped in for a lot of tea and a mince pie one afternoon I'd December. Have since visited several times for special occasions and Sunday lunch and have never been disappointed. Quality food served to a high standard 😀
