I was in tonight with my daughter and granddaughter to try the new vegan menu. Was impressed at the options available but when it arrived - wow, my eyes were treated to an amazing sight of BBQ jackfruit nachos. I ordered a large and although my eyes are clearly bigger than my stomach, it was all so delicious I ate the lot�. It was all finished with a coffee and hot soya. The staff were all super keen to hear my feedback and I seriously couldn’t give you enough stars. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Finally getting round to doing this. Been a few times but wanted to single out 2 visits. 16/12/17 - girls xmas night out. Meal was lovely, service was excellent. Wanted a table in the conservatory for a few more drinks and it wasn't a problem for the girls serving our table. Perfect end to a night sitting by the fire drinking cocktails. Fab atmosphere and good music. Girls lunch - 30/12/17 - food fab and cocktails amazing. Again lovely relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for after a good shopping trip. Special mention to 3 members of staff - Georgia, Kenzie & Lynsey...also young gent on the 30th who helped us by recommending cocktails and telling us all about Gin January...what a really nice guy. Sorry didn't get his name. Anyway highly recommend this lovely place.

I traveled through from Edinburgh with a friend we popped into BTW for food & it was absolutely delicious 😋 our waitress was really nice too, really down to earth . We would travel back through for the food alone .. Just so lovely. 💯 from me. 😊
We were at Behind the Wall for my daughters 21st birthday dinner .. the staff were fabulous ... I booked in the afternoon .. took her cake down and balloons and the staff were fab at attending to her and making her feel special in her birthday ... everyone in the restaurant sang Happy Birthday when the cake was brought out ... the food was excellent and the cocktails were even better my daughter said ... thank you BTW staff for making her birthday dinner special.
Food was lovely as always. We really enjoyed our meal and can't wait to go back.
We had a crispy chicken Budda bowl, Southern fried chicken and a kids margarita pizza. We all really enjoyed.
Service wasn't as good as the last time we were but it was a week night so that might be why. Just seemed to be a long while after finishing our mains we were checked in on and a long while before getting back to us on the desert menu. They were absolutely lovely when they spoke to us and took our order and happily packed the kiddos pizza up in a box.
Moved here about two weeks ago. This place has a great atmosphere and really good food. Lindsay is top class👍 . Highly recommended.
I love it when I find a small, local place with style, good prices and such amazing food! From first step in until leaving, it was an incredible lunch on an otherwise cold and wet day. The chicken and waffle was better than any I've had in America!! The steak baguette was, hands down, the best philly cheesesteak sandwich I've had! The food was truly top notch and so was the service. Lovely people and atmosphere. As an FYI, £8.05 for a 25 yo glenfarclas is unbelievable!

BTW has improved dramatically. Food great, the staff are brilliant and their beer is much improved. The alehouse is back to its former glory. Like the link with Falkirk FC. We visit after taking in a local game of football.
Personally I find BTW overrated. The service is good. In fact the staff is really one of their good points though they always seem rushed off their feet but they have a good system. The bar is usually swamped and can be a bit of a wait for drinks particularly going on the cocktail side, no long Island iced tea on the menu. Toilets could do with an up lift. The food is good, nice presentation but I just don't come away like wow that was one of the best meals of my life. I'm not saying I wouldn't go back, it was decent but considering how much your spending and to get charged for BBQ sauce seems ridiculous, especially as they ask if you want any sauce but not tell you it's £1 a sauce. I just wasn't bowled over.

Amazing delicious food , Very Friendly staff , easy access with Car parking ,great Environment, plenty space inside for a meal or just a simple drink , love the Mai Tai cocktail and fast service ,
And no matter what we always have a table even without booking on busy days !

Bar meets restaurant! The atmosphere is very chilled, great loud noises and amazing food. Huge gluten free and dairy free menu. Food is so tasty and reasonably priced. Great place to chat, socialize and enjoy good food with friends.
Loved this place!! Absolutely fantastic food! We had nachos, a pizza, a burger then fish and chips from the kids menu and all would say 10/10! The service was fab and they also provided a gluten free menu which had loads of choice which was so good! They even brought out some pens and paper for the kids. The prices were reasonable too. Thanku so much for a lovely meal, we can’t wait to come back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Prices are pretty reasonable and food is very good quality.
A great selection on the vegan menu, you don't miss out on any of the other options as there's vegan versions of quite a few of the key pieces.
We had haggis chimmis and bbq pulled jackfruit nachos - out of this world. They don't skimp on the vegan cheese OR the awesome flavour combos. We can't wait to come back

I hadn't visited behind the wall for some time, and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, the food was very nice and the portions were more than adequate. All in all a very nice meal, thank you.
The food was excellent, and the staff was helpful. There was an issue with a forgotten drinks order, but it was very busy, so that's acceptable. The food was so good that it more than made up for the drinks.
Really great service when I was there on Thursday. All the staff were so friendly, and happy to help. The food was amazing as well. I got the chilly mango chicken baguette amazing. Will definitely return when I'm back in the area. 10/10 from me
Thursday date night dinner after my partner's return from holiday.
Friendly, welcoming staff.
Shared a great Loaded Southern Fried Halloumi, followed by a duo of Hillbilly Steak Chilli & Crispy Chicken Buddha Bowls. Great taste from both and very filling.
All washed down with a couple of Peronis.
Enjoyed a fine whisky in the bar (once I'd been able to identify one from the great selection, as mood lighting hides the labels and the bar staff struggled to find a Speyside Malt. A hard copy list would help)
Had lunch here on Sunday. We were looking for a dog friendly restaurant and this was a great place for us. Great friendly staff who not only welcomed us but were very pleased to meet the dogs too! Waitress brought a water bowl and treats and when I mentioned the old dog found the floor hard to settle on, brought her a blanket!
It took us ages to decide on our meals though as menu extensive and all sounded delicious!
Waitress had to come back three times before we’d decided but didn’t seemed phased by this.
Settled on the Buddha bowls which were delicious!
Don't normally leave reviews but every single member of staff was so lovely there that i just had to. Had lunch with my brother and baby niece and they couldn't be more helpful and friendly! Food was great too.
