Visited here on Bank Holiday Monday. Friendly welcome from staff, lovely food.
Decor is lovely, proper country pub feel. Can imagine being sat in front of the fire on a winters day with a nice beer.
Will definitely be back again.
Lovely local that has risen like a Phoenix from the demise of the previous pub. Lots of thought and love have obviously gone into its revival. I'll watch with interest how all the investment comes to full fruition. Well done. We'll be back. Currently only food available on Sundays

Great English village pub with exquisite attention to detail. Marvellous service. Friendly staff and locals. Happened upon the Royal Oak by chance on a bike ride during a weekend away. The new landlord and his family have completely transformed this pub and is unrecognisable from its former self. Excellent cellar, friendly knowledgeable staff. It’s a bit like time travel, when a pub was a real pub, no gimmicks, just good beers and excellent service. The interior has been renovated
