I was out stretching my legs and noticed this new place. As it was quite cold outside I decided to pop in for a hot brew. Wow very bright and clean looking. There was a welcoming young woman behind the counter who politely explained what they had available. However, I declined the tempting ice cream selection.
I decided on a double expresso coffee and some home made lemon drizzle cake. Very tasty indeed. As it started raining I stopped for another coffee. Would definitely pop in again and recommend this place. While there, other customers bought the bespoke milkshakes. Very favourable comments were made about the taste and quality.
Best ice-cream I had in Manchester area! The ice-cream being vegan, I could eat as much as I wanted (5 scoops first time I went there) and no bloating and no tiredness afterwards . Excellent service . Brownie is amazing too, thank you for running this business π
This place is almost perfect, from it's super clean retro vibe, great selection of sweet treats, and excellent customer service coming from friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff, all underpinned with ethics and purpose..πππ
The only reason for a lack of 5 stars is that the name sake "Freaky Shakes" are a little less than freaky, and more standard than expected. This is a shame as the menue pictures do look great and showe chunks of wafers and cookies etc, but this isn't actually how they come/cane..
That said the shakes are tasty, and do look well in the frozen mugs. A clear attention to detail can be seen and experienced throughout, and if this should be extended to the signature shakes this place will be up there with the best of them for sure, and something I'm sure they will achieve in time as the passion and enthusiasm that comes from the owner is impossible to hide.

I'm a deliveroo driver I collected a order here for the first time.
The lady I spoke to was very informative I asked alot of questions while waiting for customers order.
She also allowed me to try 2 shakes one being biscoff and the other being peanut butter they both was very nice and I was very surprised they was vegan.
Honestly even if you aren't vegan this place seems awesome π
I found this place during a shift I took in the area and I'm happy k did.
Before I continue its worth noting they don't serve food tille 5pm which is fine.
I walked in just before 2 as I was on a break, hungry and the owner/manager Rebecca was very nice.
She offered to make me s vegetarian little breakfast which was decent I was which made ny day as I was super ill.
Unfortunately due to the high demand or customers that walked in it was late and she was even more generous and said I could get a pizza.
If the delicious sweets don't amaze you the pizza will.
The whole place sets itself apart from most and I think it's retro style world well for the place.

What a gem! Funky diner with desserts to die for, and better yet they suit all dietary requirements! The owner is friendly and offers a warm, personal welcome. Games are a welcome addition and keep little ones happy whilst waiting for food. The only area for improvement I could suggest is to offer some additional toppings or sides with the hot dog, I'd be happy to pay a bit more to "dress it up" a little x
Ordered from here and it was amazing, the waffle was to die for and the milkshakes are a good size! The prices are good for the amount of food you get. All the packaging is eco friendly and compostable too. Will be ordering from here again!
We have been in on numerous occasions since opening and have not been disappointed once. The quality of the food and drinks is always excellent and the staff could not be any more friendly and helpful. The games available make it family friendly and the music offers something different to other places. Evening opening also caters for people who work during the day which is also a massive bonus, unlike many other places.
Absolutely love this place, always come down with my son who loves his chocolate and 'pink' ice cream. Amazing customer service, everyone is so friendly and helpful and always up for a chat! Best ice cream ever and I love the salted lotus shake!
I ordered the biscoff milkshake, the chocolate cookie dough and the pick n mix. I could not find fault with any one of them, they were all bloody delicious and we will 100% be coming back again. I may even hoist my lazy backside down the road to the store so I can actually thank you guys in person.
Visited today and had a hot choc and rocky road brownie... absolutely delicious. Rebekah is so lovely and chatty too. Lovely, polished American diner experience and lots of games to play. Recommended for all the family.
amazing cakes and shakes. one of the best carrot cakes I have had in a long time. it was packed with so many different fruits and nuts and the frosting was so moorish topped off with really friendly staff.
any one in the Failsworth or Oldham area must check this place out.this is just what this area needed.
Lovely 50s style cafe, with yummy vegan treats. Always excellent customer service from Rebekah, Lee and Toni. As a family we go regularly to enjoy a sweet treat and play a board game or two π¦π°π§
Love this place, everythingβs plant based so donβt have to worry about ingredient checks, staff are friendly and welcoming, got loads of board games and stuff to keep kiddies entertained. Also have a huge menu to choose from hot waffles to cold ice cream π₯°ππ»π

You arrived with a huge smile, sang Happy Birthday to her, gave her a birthday card and an unexpected birthday present, and gave both her and her brother free candyfloss to go with their delicious ice cream sundaes - all whilst respecting social distancing rules! Friendly staff, very polite. Had the vegan hotdog was nice. Also had the waffles and icecream, and also had a coffee was really nice. Recomend to anyone come and try it for yourself
