We live in Bury and came for a walk with the dogs along the canal went to the hopwood arms and read the menu, I feel bad saying this but googled pubs near by serving food and the Houghton Arms came up so we went there, the food was excellent had baked camembert to share for a starter came will 2 war

I was with a young Ghanaian girl, soaked from the rain.
We wers welcomed inside, had a coke and a taxi was called for us.
The people were so friendly and helpful, knowing they would not make money out of us.
