Gorgeous little place. Service is fab and everyone is so friendly. Milkshakes are a real hit with the little ones (and the bigger ones too) and the cakes are delicious. I would definitely recommend this lovely tea shop. Stop off en route to Daisy Nook and there is even duck food available at the door!!

The tea shop on the corner is a hidden gem that we discovered quite by accident. The place is cosy run by a very friendly couple. The lady was very helpful and made us feel very comfortable. The decor is rather interesting and transports you to another time altogether. There are pictures all over the walls and some beautiful photographs of various destinations in Europe. The tea is served in China from another era and same with the plates. It is gorgeously vintage made warm and welcome by the couple who run it. The place was absolutely packed during lunch time with people constantly coming in.

Had delicious scones and the perfect drink of tea served in beautiful teacups. The service is welcoming and friendly. The setting is really lovely, although a little on the small side. Can't wait to go again! Highly recommend it.

Beautiful little tea shop with nice menu and lovely staff. It's worth ringing them in advance to book a table as the place is really small. They accommodated us (a party of 2) when everything had been booked, so we couldn't stay longer than 35 minutes however it was much appreciated. Thanks again!

Very nice and friendly people work there. The place is perfect for an afternoon tea, ideal if you want to go with few friends, if you want to be sure you got a table is better to book in advance, although I didn't booked it. The washroom is located in the back garden, a bit unusual for a cafe, but is clean and well maintained. Highly recommended

What a little gem of a place owners and staff can’t do enough for you. I am dairy free which was no problem ( book in advance with allergies) my friend and I had afternoon tea good selection of sandwiches scones cakes and chocolate. Other customers were having lunches which looked very appetising. We will certainly go back again and go earlier for (don’t know what to call it ) afternoon breakfast. It is advisable to book as it was full all the time we were in. Thankyou again.

Went for afternoon tea on a very wet Thursday afternoon but soon warmed up with a big pot of freshly brewed tea. The sandwiches were gorgeous cheese and chutney and beef and horseradish were two favourites but feta cheese with garlic roasted tomatoes was extremely tasty! Cakes are always a highlight of afternoon tea and I loved that there were mini selections of several favourites - Bakewell, chocolate cheesecake, strawberries dipped in chocolate and cinnamon bun. Have to say I was unable to finish everything but came away with a lovely fruit scone loaded with strawberry jam and clotted cream in a doggy bag (the dog wasn't going to get a look in!) This lovely treat was an anniversary gift and I can't think of a nicer gift. Will be back - definitely!

Met with friends on Saturday. This is 3rd time back and I am never disappointed. Homemade soup was delicious and so were the scones. Owners are always welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I will definitely be back.

What a fantastic Cafe. The food was excellent and the service was brilliant. We are touring the north west performing Macbeth and this was without a doubt the friendliest cafe we have visited. We will definitely return when we are next in the area. I highly recommend it.
