Unfortunately, my main dish was served cold. As was the gravy. However, our server was amazing! Funny, charming and was really great! Full of energy! His name was Danny and I can’t praise him enough!

Great food and fantastic atmosphere, only been a few times but it's always a 10/10 experience. This time unfortunately there was only 1 member on the bar so it got a bit hectic for the poor lad at the peak moments. Can't fault the overall 5 star vibe from the place because of it tho

Lucy was our server tonight and was fab! She was very attentive and always came to the table with a smile On a side note, the food was delicious too! The beef massaman curry is a must try 😍

Party of 4, midweek lunchtime. Large car park, pleasant location beside the river, modern and comfortable interior. Staff were friendly and welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The place was quiet, and the service was prompt. Good menu at sensible prices. The food was well cooked, well presented, and tasty. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

Had a decent lunch there on a sunny day. The food was well cooked and presented well with a good size portion. There was some outside seating with good size tables and room for dogs. There is a nice river beside the pub. Good food. Large tables (8 in our party) Kid friend. Dog friendly.

Lovely country pub, excellent food in an upstairs restaurant that over looks the river. Extensive wine list and specials to accompany. More an experience of fine dining then you can enjoy a drink in comfort by the fire in a cozy bar.

The Plough served amazing food, with a good selection for all ages. The children's portions were sufficient for older kids and of an equally good quality. The waitresses were very attentive, and kept checking to ensure we had everything we needed. The old barn style decor made it a very pleasant place to eat. Thank you.

Stopped for lunch at this very pleasant pub. Nicely done out, we were offered a table in either the bar, outside or in the restaurant. We choose the latter. We were quickly attended to and our drinks arrived promptly. Unfortunately there was a 45 minute wait for our main course even though we didn't order any starters. Other than that this a good venue for a pub restaurant offering a good variety of dishes.

Went to the Plough for Easter lunch, really lovely food and swift service. Experience was made by our waitress Lucy who made sure we were well fed, well beverag-ed and kept us laughing throughout. Would absolutely recommend.

Came in tonight with my boyfriend and everything was great! Rob was very welcoming, and the steaks were the best we've had. Although we were missing a side and a drink a couple of times, the staff were quick to get it sorted! Will definitely come again soon!

Having read recent reviews mentioning cleanliness and speed, I was a little concerned. But we had a pleasant experience. It is a big place and not quite spic-and-span, tables took a while to be cleared and there were more than one cleaning sign around. However it does have a lot of spaces, including two outdoor areas and finding somewhere suitable was easy. Ordering is principally via QR code though there are physical menus. The design of which makes it look like they’ve been stained (why?!) while the drinks menu was. It was a bit hard to find staff but they were friendly and helpful. Service of drinks was really speedy while a meal (mains for 5) took about 30 minutes. Dessert was much quicker. Oddly salt and pepper come on a small plate mixed for you to pinch and share … I guess you’d best hope everyone has washed their hands. The menu is all the usuals, though be aware they may have availability issues (no pizza or gluten free burgers). It is however directly opposite the river where you can paddle and hence convenient for a nice day out. Tip: If you’re low on mobile signal, get on the WiFi before you order as the menu might work fine but payment might fail.

Went here for Sunday lunch with friends. Has fish and chips which was really nice, but quite pricey. They had a great desert option, a small desert and a coffee for the same price as a full desert. Service was great, and the pub's in a great location.

Absolutely lovely, great service, food and atmosphere and situated in such a scenic location as well, a win win through and through. We were served by Lucy who was so attentive, really nice, ensuring that we were having all the attention required. Fantastic place and experience overall, which couldn’t be recommended more. I have hearted it and will definitely come back!

It is located near a small stream of water. Perfect location for dipping your toes in the stream, on a warm sunny day after a full tummy😛 the restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. We walked in on a weekday without prior booking and were able to get table indoors. Outdoor seating was all booked. It is a kids and pets friendly place. The food was sumptuous and the staff took care of any special requirements and requests. We had a good time. Will visit again.

Visited the Plough Inn, Eynsford, Kent with my wife on Thursday 23/6/22 around the time 1315pm to 1532pm. By this time of visit the atmosphere calmly relaxed at the Inn, also no problems with parking in the disabled bay - remember to record your vehicle registration at the bar inside the Inn on arrival! Disabled entrance, toilet facilities all here too. An historical Inn with period architecture being all part of the historic village of EYNSFORD- certainly one of most famous, picturesque villages not only in Kent / England but the whole of the U.K. The beautiful upper reaches of the River Darent and its well known 'FORD' crossing are always an attraction to many visitors in the heart of the village along RIVERSIDE. The Plough Inn sits comfortably alongside the River bank, and awaits you with kind, friendly, welcoming staff to serve you with a menu to be proud off. A fairly sizeable car park within the premises but do take into account that this Inn in where its located can get very busy due to its popularity. Like most pub, gastro pub restaurants, depending on time of year, day of the week, time of day, it would probably be wise to check beforehand! But of course, you can be lucky just casually turning up without a reservation, especially on a weekday. The general interior very chic. The decor inside is a blend of smooth 'earthy' colours around the walls with attractive presented furniture to match. Table and chair arrangements neatly spaced apart, there is also an upstairs dining area too. Warm modern lighting and lamps, and a good lengthy bar. Very clean and hygenic all round - I found. The food very good indeed, a good choice of British and Mediterranean European dishes on all courses to choose from. Most memorable to me especially is the sweet dessert! My wife and I last visited here some 20 years ago, and I always remembered one of the finest cheesecakes I'd ever savoured. This time round I had the Chocolate Trio Cheesecake, I RECOMMEND! Also on this occasion I had Pan Fried Scallops for starters, and the main a tasty King Prawn/ Crab/Chorizo Linguine...done to perfection in my view!!..Just one slighty little downside, it seemed to lack quantity, but hey, certainly made up for it in 'QUALITY'... I could've easy eaten another main dish....hope this remark complimentary at least to the chef and catering staff! Maybe not the fastest table service, but for me that doesn't matter in a beautiful relaxing Inn where time can wonderfully drift. Perfectly ideal for couples to embrace their time here, ideal for a steady stroll after alongside the river bank and village. Yeah, my wife and I will return at some future date....and 👍 yes, I personally give this wonderful well remembered 👏 Inn my praise with a rating of A1, 10/10. A pleasure to be here, enjoyed the chat with staff members. Good luck with future hospitality and custom....Chris.
