I stayed here for three nights. I liked The Castle Hotel very much. I stayed with my two dogs and family members. The Hotel is very dog friendly. The room we had was lovely and had character which was great plus a big bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities were appreciated. Perhaps the best bit about The Castle Hotel is the restaurant. Food was great, we had dinner one night and was very happy with it. Breakfast again was awesome and plenty of it. I would definately stay again when in the area.

Stayed for one night as a place to crash as our Christmas do was local. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere, breakfast was very tasty in the morning with a great choice of food. 5 stars and would definitely stay again
Loved our stay here and like many others have said, the staff were outstanding. Breakfast was totally Delish ! And room was gorgeous. Highly recommend The Castle at Eynsford, can't wait to go back!

I arrived when they were in the process of moving furniture the only guest but I felt like I was with Family the room was very good breakfast excellent and the guest beers were really good I will be back

Didn't stay at the hotel but had a late Sunday lunch at the restaurant. It maybe because we were the last of service but service was quite slow. There was quite a pause from being seated to ordering drinks and our mains. The food when it came was a mixed bag. I personally cannot stand cauliflower cheese, but this one... I ate the lot...it was delicious and also had broccoli in it. The meat and gravy were also unbeatable however ... the roast potatoes looked as if they'd been under a warmer for the past 4 hrs and unfortunately did not taste any better...they were niether crisp or fluffy but instead dry and a little rubbery. The impressive size of the Yorkshire pud almost made up for this but not quite as that was also not as fresh as it could have been. I am certain, however, that if being served earlier, we were in at 4 pm, everything would have been unbeatable and 5 star. Unfortunately, not all can get booked in early, and it should always be worth keeping the food fresh, shouldn't it...?
Just finished our stay from September 5-September 12 at Castle Hotel. Loved it.
The food was great, rooms clean and staff very helpful and friendly.
We stayed the hottest week in September on record but you could feel safe throwing open the windows and sleeping. Fans in the rooms were life savers.
Had the best time. Staff helped with every need. Special hats off to Cherelee. She was especially gracious and helpful.
Went for Sunday lunch after a long walk, with no booking & greeted by friendly staff member. They were fully booked but kindly accommodated us in the rear garden. Ordered at the bar and lovely Sunday roast (beef and mixed) served very efficiently and probably one of the best roasts I can remember having - fantastic fresh veg, cauliflower cheese (with no extra cost), lovely meat and a massive Yorkshire & luscious delightful amounts of thick, flavoursome gravy! Even though we were sat outside and very busy, staff checked on us regularly & I couldn’t praise them enough.

Stayed at the Castle on one leg of our North Downs Way walk. Room 7 was a very nice, spacious room with lovely coffees and teas in the room. For dinner I had the jerk chicken burger one night and the ribs (beautifully smokey) the other (need lots of energy for the walk!). Both were excellent and highly recommended. Breakfasts were well cooked and not greasy where cooked. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Thoroughly recommended.
It was a lovely small-scale hotel which i like very much. Room was super clean, no damp smell on towels or pillows. In fact, every time i entered the room, it had a refreshing smell. Room is on the small side but it's perfectly enough for me especially on a short trip. It has everything i needed. Also, pillows and mattress were firm enough to my liking. I gave them 10/10 for hygiene and cleanliness coz the bathroom is spotlessly clean and white. And the shower basin drainage was very efficient. I'm very picky on these two aspects and they surpassed my expectations.
About the food (dinner and breakfast), all was very delicious and menu catered for different tastes from different cuisines!!

Great food in a lovely, atmospheric pub. The pub has a lovely atmosphere snd, although it was busy, it wasn’t noisy and we were able to chat easily and comfortably.
The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The menu was very varied, with lots of vegetarian options. I had the Korean bowl with tofu, which was delicious.
I’ll definitely be back!
Ended up here after a hike from Otford, so was more than ready for a Sunday roast. Staff were efficient and polite, and the roast was great. Huge Yorkshire pudding, thick glossy gravy, perfectly cooked veg with a bite, and lovely roast beef. I would have preferred mine more rare, but impossible to please everyone! Washed down with a decent red 👌
Had a bountiful roast with my 2 young children. Fantastic offerings and really accomadating with my rabble. Great staff great food. Can't wait to visit on a Sunday again. Also nice easy parking at the rear.
Just had the most amazing overnight stay at this hotel, room 7. My family came over from America and chose this hotel. The room was awesome, very tastefully decorated, the bathroom and bath out of this world, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were terrific. My family said they had the best overnight stay and i will very staying again very soon. Would definitely recommend this hotel, even dog friendly and that was the perfect touch to my stay. Thank you all at the castle hotel, you were awesome.
Great venue. Well recommended. Food is always great and the menu updates regularly. Can’t complain about the cocktails either! 😋. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming too.
