Friendly staff and decent food in this seafront location. Lots of seating but can fill up quickly. Adult meals were lovely. Kids meals were a bit of a let down. £4.95 (3 quiet greasey fish goujons and chips come with a juice carton and a toy.) Juice carton was a squash carton full of E numbers. Ice
Had a brilliant day out to Eyemouth sun shone all day. And of course we gravitated to Mackays chippy for the ultimate fish tea excellent as usual even better that we sat out in the good weather. Staff always welcoming, polite and attentive.
Excellent small restaurant and chip shop.
In the picture is the Seniors fish tea, very crispy with moist tasty fish. 9.50 pounds.
Also available is the full size portion, but this size is just right for lunch.
Delicious fish and chips. First visited 5 years ago and have been back this week while on holiday nearby. So good!

Busy cafe/restaurant on the high street at the front and the beech at the back. The home baking looked good, we had the strawberry tarts which were excellent at £2.95 a pop. Love their pizza and the Scampi are huge and mega tasty. Great milk shakes too. Yum!!
Well what would you expect from a seafood restaurant in a fishing port but the best and freshest and that is what you get. Their scampi or rather langoustine tails are large against which the supermarket variety looks paltry. I am not a great eater of chips but the way they cook theirs is so good I
If you like fish dishes really should do, two outlets in one, does lovely ice cream too with carry out to front and cafe to side. Nice view of Eyemouth bay.
Ate here and the leading fish chip place in eyemouth while on holiday. This fish and chip place was way better by far.

Amazing food and amazing service.
Despite arriving at the restaurant just a couple of minutes before closing time we were still given a table and then served the best fish and chips I have ever tasted my 58 years.
