I've used the Happy house for several years now for a Chinese takeaway. It's worth the drive to for the food. Prices are good ( a big draw), the lad at the counter is always polite and friendly ( I remember him being alot younger serving and always been the same). The fact they're usually always quite busy is statement in itself really
Recently stated using this place, food is fantastic! My only complaint is that they don’t take a name when taking phone orders so, you have relay your order to them rather than just giving a name
Just started going back again to the Happy House after afew years. The food is good, well packaged, hot and tasty, we recommend the set menu for two very good value. The service is very good and your made welcome and you get a free bag of crackers! As just a takeaway the atmosphere is busy, theres alittle tv on while you wait.
In terms of atmosphere it is a takeaway so nothing special inside. But there are always mags/papers to read while you wait. They're fast and the food is really tasty. The best in the local area.
Really good Chinese that we use regularly. Really good menu with a huge variety. Prices are very reasonable and waiting times aren't very long at all. Service is always friendly and the free prawn crackers are always welcome.

I've tried quite a few items on the menu and I've found them all to be tasty and well prepared. The portion sizes are good the the prices are reasonable, (I think most places tend to charge the same prices). An added bonus is you will usually get free prawn crackers.
The staff are friendly and the order is always ready quickly. If I had to list one negative it's that the phone is normally engaged, but I guess that's a byproduct of being busy. Keep up the great work guys.
And on a side note remember to take cash as they don't accept cards. There's a cash point just round the corner.
Very friendly staff, and while they may not always get the order right - the food they give you instead is always something interesting and fairly similar.
Grotty front of restaurant, but the food is great. Would definitely recommend. Great customer service.
