We came whilst on holiday and the food was so good we came twice. On the first visit I had a roast which was the best I'd had in a long time. My vegetarian daughter also had the roast and she loved it too. On our second visit the food was amazing too, with my mum particularly enjoying the sea bass. Your chef must be brilliant as our food was first class and amazing value for money.
We used to live here and routinely would visit The Farmhouse. Cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for! Never left unhappy. Unfortunately this time round we had a slight issue however, the manager on shift and Jay(sp?) fixed it straight away with no hesitation, even with smiling faces. We couldn't fault the service at all! The Macaroni Cheese is delightful. Keep up the great work guys!
I loved the atmosphere outside, the lights made it seem very comforting, cozy and warm. The staff were extremely welcoming and the food was spectacular. Would definitely recommend and come again
We visited the farmhouse whilst staying in Devon cliffs holiday park. We wanted to watch the football and have some dinner. Having not been to a hungry horse for many years, I was very impressed. The interior is very nice and modern, plenty of tables with views of a TV, a good selection of beers and tasty, generously portioned food. There also seems to be a big restaurant aswell for those who just want to have a meal. We ate our food and moved into the garden to enjoy some more drinks, which was another very pleasant area. Staff and service were fantastic. Extremely good value aswell, considering quality of food and size of portions. If we ever stay in the area again we’ll be sure to visit!
We sat in the family area with children and grandson felt very comfortable plenty of choice from the menu not high end food but good and well cooked for reasonable prices so enjoyed desserts too
Good food and servers can be a little to be desired. Most don’t seem to want to be there, been several times over the years as with different management and has been Better in past.
Excellent service from all staff. Quick, efficient helpful, Table booked on line easy to arrange. Used the app to order drinks to our table. Paid food with tesco vouchers very easy to do.

Good value food with plenty of choice. We enjoyed traditional roasts and a vegetarian nut roast. Very tasty.
Staff were friendly,didnt have to wait long...wednesdays special curry,7 pounds with a free drink or pay an extra 3 pounds and get extras...big portion couldn't eat it all buy they also do other offer on meals good buy

100% better than the Clinton arms cheaper, better food, faster service. If staying at Devon cliffs it's worth the 5min drive out to go to the Farmhouse.

Free parking outside the pub, not sure where a previous review went but it wasn't here.
We (5) ate here yesterday evening and didn't book just turned up and all the tables were reserved, the lady behind the bar pushed 2 free tables together and sat us down. We ordered the food and it came in good time and was very tasty, everyone agreed. Only 1 regret is that we didn't find this gem earlier in the week - full marks to all who work here. We now know why all the tables were reserved.
